Rowing: Balraj Panwar finishes 5th in QF of Men's Single Sculls clocking 7:05.10.

He is out of contention for a medal.

Only the top 3 from each of the 4 QF races qualified for Semis.

He will be in action later for classification places.

I hope in the coming Olympics we have more people in this.

ATM for a lot of other sports, where we have not made a mark thus far..to reach QF/ Semis is also a decent movement. Yes we shouldnt be comfortable with just that..but atleast it will put enough spotlight on those events..for people to take interest in it and to hopefully inspire more talent and future Olympians in that space.

Balraj can still pick up a medal in next Olympics if he continues to get stronger at it..this is our first time at rowing and he did really well by that standard.

Congratulations to Manu Bhaker for the second medal and Sarabjot for the first medal.

Keep it up boys and girls.
