Indian divers London Singh Hemam and Siddharth Bajrang Pardeshi finished sixth, scoring 279.87 points, in the men's synchronised 3m springboard final at the Asian Games 2023.
The Chinese pair Yan Siyu and He Chao clinched the gold medal with 422.55 points. Meanwhile, the Republic of Korea (393.00) won silver and Malaysia (380.22) settled for bronze at Hangzhou.
Indian athlete Aishwarya Mishra clocked 53.50 seconds in the women's 400m final to finish fourth at the Asian Games 2023. The 26-year-old sprinter was 0.92 seconds shy of a bronze medal in the event.
Bahrain's Oluwakemi Mujidat Adekoya and Salwa Eid Naser won gold and silver, respectively, while Malaysian sprinter Vallabouy Shereen Samson settled for bronze.
Meanwhile, Muhammed Ajmal Variyathodi was ranked fifth after the men's 400m final with a time of 45.97 seconds, just shy of his personal best of 45.36 seconds.
