HI GUYS ,

I NOTICED THIS LONG AGO BUT I AM TELLING U NOW. HAS ANY1 EVER NOTICED THAT INITIALLY THE DIRECTOR OF THE SHOW WAS SATYAM TRIPATHI . HE HAD DIRECTED THE EPISODES UPTILL THe FIRST EPISODE OF CASES REOPENED. THEREAFTER THE SERIES HAVE BEEN DIRECTED BY NANDU KALE.

BUT DATS FOR SURE ,SATYAM WAS A BETTER DIRECTOR.

HE PROVIDED THE INITIAL EPISODES WID A LOT OF REALISTIC DETAILING OF FORENSICS .THIS HELPED THE SHOW TO BE SET AS A CLASS APRAT FROM ITS FELLOW SHOWS LIKE CID ETC.

HE SURELY WORKED ON THE TECHNICALITIES INVOLVED IN THE CRIME SOLVING.

WHEREAS TOWARDS THE LATER EPISODES SS BECAME MERELY A COP-THIEF SHOW.

THE TECHNICALITIES OF THE SHOW WERE REDUCED TO THAT OF AN AFTER -THIEF CHASE(though by this time i had strted liking ss to such an extent that i cud sut in front of the show for an indefinite period---------no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!)

wat do u people have to say abt this.

i liked the later part more...presentation, acting, aryan's personality, bhanu's acting all were way improved... and prior it sometimes felt like a science
documantary..dry and without the feel of artistic wrapped around it..but it later became mroe gripping, apart from just being a detective show...more of psychological juxaposition of various shades and emotions etc made it mature looking, real yet entertaining.

I think Nandu Kale and Satyam Tripathi have different styles of direction. One can't judge and say that Tripathi is a better director than Kale because as a matter of personal opinion, the episodes where Aryan kills Raja, the Bomber Strikes series, the unsolved cases especially the third and fourth where the intricaices of the love-hate relationship between Aryan & Shaina were shown were some of the best of SS. I'm not sure if it was Tripathi or Kale who directed the first 6 or 7 episodes but I think it was Tripathi if I'm not much mistaken, I think those were also very good, where the pain of loss and frustration of failure in the case of Aryan were brilliantly portrayed. I used to think earlier that Satyam Tripathi was a better director, before I saw the one episode which I think is the best of the series where Aryan bumps off Raja, which was directed by Nandu Kale.

i dint notice thisd....but now that u mention...im considerin it.....
well....though i love all episodes of ss.....i love the first part better.....
i agree with sofia that all of bhanu's or aryan's best emotions came out in the latter half....but that refers to the actor and his abilities.......very well written to....
but referrin to cases...i loved the earlier ones...which were more scientific and thrillin....later on they became too predictable....and at times filmy!
but i think the best episodes were the ones in between....when the old cases were reopened! 👏

truely said ,the emotions were best shown (on every character's part) in the later episodes only.
but what i meant was in the context of crime solving techniques only which widout any denial were better only in the initial episodes. i hope everybody agrees on this.
