Agreed the show had some flaws and took liberty in some of the episodes
But it was much better than any crime/fiction/drama series shown on the Indian television because the actors infused life into the characters.
Also because the characters like Shina, Aryan, Neha, Boxer were shown to carry personal emotional baggage, this led to a more realistic feel to the show. Previously I have thoroughly enjoyed crime shows like Hello Inspector and Suraag and have immense respect for Ravi Kishan and Sudesh Berry, respectively, who pulled off a superb performance but they were shown to larger than life with no much emphasis on their personal life.
But SS was special because they made the lead character (Aryan Khanna) vulnerable and this aspect added immensely to the likability of the character.
Personally I really enjoyed Aryan post the Bomber episodes wherein he is demoted and is given more of a field job.
Also the episode wherein the lady doctor dies an unfortunate death when she tries to escape from her abusive husband, I think the SS team was justified in giving the husband a taste of his own medicine as he could not held responsible for his wife's death and they wanted to punish him any ways.
Hence SS is the BEST
