Deepawali ki haardik shubhkaamnaien!!!!

Eager to hear about your diwali celebrations!!!!!

I made a mud fort, as such is the tradition here....We make mud forts and then place figurines of soilders and Shivaji Maharaj on it and lite it up with diyas!

After that, as I am a bit of a pyromaniac😆 so I lit the first cracker of the dawn at 5:00 am cauz that is the time from which lighting crackers is allowed!

I bought a pink (seriously! pink! 😲 i dony like pink much....my mom made me buy it!) dress and i am gonna war it....actually i own tons....seriously, i really own more than 10 festive dresses (on the account of marriages in the past 2 years in our family 😉) but i now finally own a pink one!

Ummm then we all went to the temple on a hill top, and sat there for nearly an hour chatting, as my cousins and uncles and aunts too had come...⭐️

now in the evening it will be time for laxmi poojan....I like it a lot....cauz of the crackers....

and now is the time to end this loooooong monolouge!

yeah...aaj laxmi poojan tha naa...so went mad with the fire crackers and burst all of them! and took a LOT of photos.....and then did timepass together....

Me and my sister had put the diyas in our garden, and the tiny lights you know, were looking so beautiful, so ephemeral....

Chalo m sleeping have a full day ahead tomorrow!

As today was no special day, our family and our cousins went for a short picnic to a temple, nearly 50 km away from the city.

We trekked up the mountain and wove yellow wild flowers in our hair....We ate a lot of delicious foodstuffs and then went to a ghat which descends into Konkan. Returning from their, we stopped by a waterfall, and had huge fun there while playing in the water.

I was actually going to attend a 'Deepotsav' in my school, where we, a forum of ex students decorate the whole school with oil diyas in the evening. Our school is really beautiful, and rather than a commercial building, it resembles a palace...So the small oil lamps look really traditional and beautiful and go with its arches....

But now m too tired and so I will pass it up.....

kal sham ko maine bhaut badi rangoli dali porch main,sanskar bharti ,then we ligthen the deeps,than did Pooja ,Then small kido brothers ,Uncle ,Bhaiya and all the small kids of our collany burst out crackers ,I burst 2-3 only for dastoor ,Don't like bursting out crackers,Did full too Dhamaal ,and today from the day start there were many guests coming around ,saans lene ki bhi fursat nahi thi,at evening Bhaiya ke friends aaye thae we did khoob chatting then my friends came up to greet ,Gave wishes to some frnds by phone ,ab kal main jaongi frnds ke yaha .God so much hectic,but a real fun ,Diwali is always a big celebration.
