JAKARTA - MNCTV ready to spoil lovers of Bollywood. This time through Rama Shinta is scheduled to begin premiering on Monday (13/11/2017) every day, at 21:00 pm.
Previously, MNCTV was successful with Indian Bollywood series show, from Jodha Akbar and Mahabharata.
Rama Shinta's Bollywood series is played by famous Indian actors and actresses, such as Ashish Sharma (Rama), Madirakshi Mundle (Shinta), Karan Suchak (Lakshmana), Dalip Tahil (King Dasharath), Danish Akhtar Saifil (Hanuman), Karthik Jayaram (Rahwana).
Rama Shinta's story begins when Rama is the crown prince of the Ayodhya Kingdom. As the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Rama has a perfect nature filled with wisdom and compassion.
Rama and his three younger siblings Bharata, Lakshmana, and Satrughan were the pride of King Dasharath and Ragu Dynasty. While Shinta is the eldest daughter of King Janak of the Mithila Kingdom.
Shinta was born from earth as the incarnation of Dewi Lakshmi and her birth bless Mithila land with prosperity after for almost 12 years experiencing drought. Rama and Shinta are united through a contest.
Rama won the contest after he managed to lift the bow of the god Shiwa that no one in the world who can lift it other than Shinta.
The marriage of Rama and Shinta unites the Mithila and Ayodhya Empires. The lives of Rama and Shinta were tested when Queen Kaikeyi, the second wife of King Dasharath, was blinded by greed.
Queen Kaikeyi wants Bharata her son who became heir to the throne of Ayodhya kingdom not Rama.
In the end, Rama was expelled from the palace to undergo exile with Shinta. In the time of exile, Rama and Shinta were separated by Rahwana's actions. Rahwana who is obsessed with Shinta's beauty abducts and locks Shinta in her palace.
In order to save Shinta, Rama must fight against Ravana and his allies. In the battle, Rama was accompanied by Lakshmana and received assistance from Hanuman and the apes.
Rama Shinta Bollywood series managed to steal the attention of the audience with various achievements in several awards such as Favorite Beta in the event the Star Parivaar Awards 2016, Best Historical / Mythological Serial and Best Costumes in the Indian Television Academy Awards 2016.
