No Padma karma affects every living entity. That's why in Shrimad Bhagavatham it is told if you do good karma you get higher order of birth. And it is said that the birth as a human is the culmination of a lot of good deeds you have done in other births. You have to use this birth to bring positive changes to the society so that your soul escapes the cycle of birth and death. By that doesnt mean you wont be born again. It only means in every birth you will do things that impact society in a positive way even if ur not there, ur name will be there in people's heart.
That's why it is Narayana always. Because he is life. He teaches you to live life to become eternal like him, if you follow his direction. Because if he is the flower you are his fragrance. His name in society moves through you. BG has no meaning without Arjuna. And that is what people forget. They talk about Narayana not knowing how he operates. It is like talking about flower without knowing fragrance, it is like talking about light without knowing vaccum, it is like talking about Vishnu without knowing Vishnu Maya. Flower is complete with fragrance, Vishnu is complete only with Vishnu Maya who is Paravati in Sister form, Mahalakshmi in wife form and Saraswati in Mata form. In other words if you dont understand a woman you dont understand NarayanπŸ˜ƒ

Wanted to share something interesting with you on Ramayan. I had studied a poem called Panchavati by Maithili Sharan Gupt for my Visharad second part ( It is a course of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha). So the poem deals with Ram, Sita, Lakshman life in Panchavati and ends with the nose cutting of surpi. We had to study poetic analysis as well as character analysis for exam. There were guides and all for us to support our writing. As usual I found Ram and Sita too ideal and prepared myself to write about Lakshman and Surpi. For the exam choice was between Sita and Surpi and I wrote surpi. I wrote it quite well.
So for this exam we had viva voce also. So when I went for viva voce that lady asked which character analysis I did for Panchavati. I told Surpi. That teacher asked why Surpi when there was Sita. I told if it is Sita you have to write lot of good things and it was really boring πŸ˜†πŸ˜† to write about her. Whereas Surpi had so many shades and it was fun to write about her. As I explained Surpi based on that poem that teacher became wide eyed. When I think back I am thankful she didnt lose conscious the way I was talking about Surpi as Surpi was my childhood friendπŸ˜†πŸ˜†.

That was another thing I liked about SKR. They didnt make Sita linear. Mahanta ki moorat. She was human with human emotions and could connect to her more.

@padma when Narayan comes to earth it is said that he is tied to the human dharma, what affects a normal human affects him also. He has to ensure he goes through all the curses, but does karma in such a way that, even his curse becomes boon for the universe. In his pain he gives benefit to the world.
Seperation from mahalakshmi was a curse, but with that curse he does Lok kalyan killing Ravan. Same way he has to ensure all boons are granted.

If you look Ram leaving Ayodhya based on vachan given by his father, in human form it looks as a son's duty, but Narayan was granting Kaikeyi her boons. That's why Dasrath couldnt stop him. Because Narayan has to grant boons. Kaikeyi had got those boons based on her good work. She didnt use it the right way, hence she became the most hated woman in Ayodhya.

We all get boons based on her good works, but if we dont use our boons the right way it becomes our curse. A person who thinks with head or is blinded by maya or perception makes their boon a curse for themselves and others. Kaikeyi does that when she sends Ram away and then again praja of Ayodhya does it when they sent Sita away.

A person who thinks with heart , listens to the voice of the heart makes even their curse a boon for others and live on the hearts of others eternally. That is what Ram does and that is what Sita did.

@Mano I will write when I remember, or when some question triggers that thought. Aditi was talking a bit abt my analysis of Maya in beyhadh and I remembered Surpi analysis. I was in 9th std then. Actually I love sensible questions, because it helps me also to gain knowledge as if I am confused I will have to refer wiki or multiple sites to answer the question in an understanding way.

I have always answered if the question is valid and if somebody gave good suggestion/criticism on my analysis style I have changed it. Couple of my regular readers have pointed out the flaws including yourself, I had changed it.

Sometimes you get attached to a character. Not that you love or agree to everything that character does, but it is the character that holds you. Every analyst will have it, as we are also humans.

In SKR, Shanta had held me, it was such a small role but everyone knows here she mattered to me a lot.

Also I sit with questions, if the script answers the question or goes in the direction of answering the question I feel happy.

In SKR the question was on Sita banishment. Why did Ram who is Lord Narayan incarnate did injustice to a woman. If it is not injustice what was the motive. What is Vishnu Maya hiding. SKR exposed Vishnu Maya. They connected it well with Shanta and in Lanka kand itself I understood that injustice to Sita was to get justice for his sister, his mother and other women of Ayodhya. Remember I telling when Surpi tells to Ravan " Bhaiyya I know you will bring justice for me", it was like Shanta telling Ram. " Bhaiyya I knew you will bring justice for me". Ravan took the justice destroying another family( yes his family too got destroyed, but he inflicted the pain on others first than self) , while Ram gave justice almost destroying his family, taking the extreme pain inflicting upon himself. That was the difference between two.

In Paramatma Shri Krishna I simply enjoy the narration of Vishnu-Lakshmi. it is penned beautiful with its mystery, philosophy and spirituality.

Similarly in Beyhadh I love Maya, I love analyzing her thoughts, her emotions. What drives her to do such actions. Telling why she does that, and justifying her actions are two different things. If you sit for an exam and if Maya comes for character analysis and if you bash the character, you wont get marks. Similarly a story situation, character has to be analyzed for what they are, their rights and their wrongs. That is where you score marks. People who have written language papers will know that( But you have to write your POV, not the copied POV of someone else which many do reading guides and all to pass exam). I still remember my Hindi Sir asking me whether he can keep my answer sheets for model exam for my plus 2, for the character analysis I had written for Prithviraj Chouhan. I still remember the concluding line of that analysis. If Prithiviraj chouhan was not magnanimous enough to forgive Mohammed Gori when he got the chance to kill him, history of India would have been different. Ethics, kindness were Prithviraj chouchan's strength, but the same strength took his life and also gave his land in the hands of intruders.

My language books since high school have always ended up with teachers as they told they would prefer to use them for the next set of students. There was a time I could write in all the 3 languages Hindi, English and Malayalam quite well. But then not using the other 2 languages for writing over a period of time, the vocabulary of expression in those language got reduced and now I can write only in English well.

When I read books I love characters. In Ramayana my favorite always has been Lakshman and Urmila then Indrajith and Hanuman. In MB it was Krishna, Karna, Arjuna, Panchali and then Abhimanyu.

In Harry Potter it was hermoine I loved the most and then Snape. Snape was one hell of a character sketch by JK Rowling.
In Bahubali of course it was Shivgami followed by Devasena.

it was the first time in SKR I analyzed Sita and Ram in depth. I am really thankful to script writers for writing the script so beautifully in SKR to hook me to Ram and yes Ashish delivered completely on that script. The eyes of Ram with that slight glistening he did so remarkably. I cannot praise him enough for that. Even my mom tells now if someone tells Ram it is Ashish face that is coming to her mindπŸ˜ƒ.

I have edited both my posts, do read the post in this AT I mean edited one πŸ˜›πŸ˜†

Yes I know u loved Shanta, thats why one of the symbol threads banners, I had put Shanta in the middle 😳

bold - this part I am highlighting for Prave, the crux of your analysis in Symbol thread.

Even I loved her in Season 1. S1 Maya will remain my fav FL without fail. But the makers totally messed up her character with S2. Execution has gone down as per me, she's too dark to connect nowadays.
Even Twinu (Ashi) shares the same opinion. Thats why both of us stopped watching πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

I still like your analysis, I don't find u justifying her (unlike Maya fans), u discuss her psyche. Though she's dark but she's the protagonist. You just present her side of story. I think most writers did that only, they wrote abt Maya. It used to be a nice forum with beautiful posts but now... All thanks to the makers n fanwars.

Bold red- That's right! actually when people are extremely selfless or forgiving or mahaan or whatever, they lose out a lot in their lives. That's why these TV shows should not promote Mahaan devi type characters, neither overly innocent Male leads who hardly know whats going around πŸ˜†

My Nani too loved Ashish as Ram, her fav from Ashu... Infact my mom in the beginning was like why is Ashish even doing a mytho, that too after playing grey characters, she also said she won't like him as Ram, but as soon as she saw him onscreen she was like "he really looks serene" 😳
Now she loves him as Ram πŸ˜›

Literal meaning is "Love which is greater than God"
Lol makers take was that only, Ranveer's ishk was greater than God
Its only Ranveer who got the dialogue "For everyone Rab is greatest but for me Rab se sona ishk"

Also S n D believed in God, but RV didn't believe in God, he jusy believed in Sahiba and she was always the "righteous one" for him
For Daljit she was "beautiful one"

Now tell whose love is rab se sona? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†
