Ashi, I also wanted to watch it as some fantasy show only
but every 5secs they keep saying Arya and Dravida shakti
the makers sure know it's sensitivity by still are degrading one side without any proof
they sure have an agenda
As far as the show is concerned except for the above part
it's a decent show but it has it's one lags too
They aren't showing any new war tactics that makes Aryans give a tough fight to Dravidians
They say rules,omens for Dravidians
even Devsena's coronation was stopped due to bad omen
now suddenly she is a self proclaimed queen
what happened to rules and omens now
the male leads acting is average
surprisingly Kartika is better than expected
Also the Dravidian soldiers are looking like some asur clan
(may be that's what they are implying)
Coming to Aryan Invasion.
u can't rule out the possibility
British did meddle a lot with our literature and culture
but everything is not due to them
Let me share my observation
this Aryan invasion theory and fights/arguments has be there for long
but there weren't enough proofs to conclude or to rule out the same
but sometime back there happened a medical research
which was carried out by group of doctors(16)
they analysed DNA's of females from diff parts of India and other countries
Specially Pakistan and central Asia(which is assumed from where Aryans migrated),
middle east Asia etc
the test results said that there weren't much diff or mixture of diff races
in DNA of north and south female(subjects) for past 12,000 years(not sure about years)
Based on this results it was concluded that there was no Aryan invasion
then came this theory that it was Britishers who manipulated about Aryan invasion
Now recently there was a research carried out again
This time it was male test subjects
the reason was
whenever there was a migration in olden times
It's the males who migrated, women and children didn't travel with them
so when these men migrated they usually married the women from that land
Hence they wouldn't be much diff in female DNA's compared to the male DNA's
the point to be noted is that this second research had
8 among 16 doctors from the old research
The result of this research says that there is significant difference in DNA
that is DNA of north and south people differ since 3500 years
the research states that there was a Aryan invasion
I am not saying that it's the finale result
but u can't rule out probabilities
Just that we don't have clear evidence like that of Mughal invasion or British
