The thing with Ramayan is that we know what the story is about...it's been made into movies and shows so many times...there have been many who have essayed Ram ...so to take up a role which has precedents, and to do something with it that is true to the character as well as stand apart from the rest who have done it before , is one hell of a job..
Ashish has come through with flying colors ...to face the pressure, the expectations , the grumbling by a few lol, and to still stamp ur signature on a role is an extraordinary achievement.
Varshu I knew that from the very beginning ( actually even b4 SKR started) that Ram will be his best character😳
And when he plays another character after Ram, that would become his best ...
Because Ashish is not competing with anyone else , his competition is with himself...
He was always a good actor to start with but he has kept growing in all these years..
He made Avidesh lose before Chandragupta, Chandragupta before Ranveer ( atleast for me 😳😆 ) , Ranveer before Rudra and now Rudra before Ram 😳 and his nxt character wud beat Ram ji 😛
Yes I agree Varshu, there have been many ppl who played Ram.. To make a mark among all of them is difficult..
Rudra was written keeping Ashish in mind , but that's not the case with Ram ... But Ashish moulded himself accordingly , and it appears that he was born to play Ram 😳
