And discussions like this are totally normal in mythological forums. Perhaps this is your first mytho forum so it seems annoying to you, but I've been in so many mythological forums before and half the topics are always about how the show could be better, what's wrong with the show, etc. You just can't expect people to accept anything a mythological show shows, because there are ardent mytho lovers like me who place great emphasis on the original editions of the epic. It's hard for us to tolerate scenes that are so modern and unbelievable that it feels like we're watching a typical SP show instead of a mytho.

Just like a person can express how much they loved a certain promo, another person has equal write to express how much they disliked it and why. It's a discussion forum. Other opinions are allowed too. I'm not advising anyone. I have no interest in advising people. I just rant about my opinions, that's all, and no one need read my posts if they don't want to. 😆

Never once did I criticize Ashish or Madirakshi personally. I posted elsewhere too that I respect them as actors, and I actually liked Ashish in RR. It's the characterization of Ram and Sita that I don't like in this show, and no matter who plays the characters in this show, I would dislike it. Even if Gurmeet and Debina themselves acted as Ram and Sita again in this show, I would still dislike the portrayal of the characters just as much. It has nothing to do with the actors, so for someone to make sarcastic comments about NDTV Ramayan or Gurmeet's fans is totally irrelevant, random, and unnecessary.

I never advised anyone what to do, lol. Never have I told people to stop watching this show. Who am I to tell someone what to watch and not watch? I tend to post long posts, but that's just how I write. I rant a lot, and everyone who knows me can vouch to that. It doesn't mean I'm advising you guys to do or think a certain way. 😆

And when I said "God save us" I was talking about the CVs, not you guys. I was being sarcastic because in my opinion, what they're showing is downright ridiculous at times. I was venting my frustration at the way they're continuously been crossing boundaries with creative license. Why would I attack you guys? I have nothing against you.

All my posts in this forum are targeted at the CVs and the writers of this show. Never have I targeted a particular fanbase or viewer(s). I've never even targeted the actors. My one and only frustration and anger is at the CVs, not any particular member.

Hope I made myself clear at least this time.

See, for some people their favorite adaptations of Ramayan are based on which actor does it, or which channel it airs on, but for most viewers, they like whatever Ramayan sticks as close to the epic as possible, regardless of who plays the role and which channel it airs on. It's not important how hunky an actor looks, or how grand the sets are, or even how popular a channel is. A true adaptation is one which does most justice to the epic and sticks true to the divinity of the characters.

Just because you and many people are watching this show for Ashish, doesn't mean everyone watches mythological shows for actors. There are actually people who watch it to see how well it portrays the epic onscreen.

I like an actor as Ram and Sita after watching how well they do the role, and how well the show sticks close to the epic. I don't watch a mythological show just for the actors. For me, and probably many people, the epic is far more important than any actor, channel or sets.

Agree. After watching the promo I don't know if I should laugh, cry or get angry. It's appalling to see an epic being distorted this way. Though I have no clue about Ramayan I know for sure this is not the way they met. And, the way Ram jumped from the horse in the last scene was quite hilarious. This is not Sita ki drishti but Siya Ke Ram SP ke drishti se 🤣🤣
