Aashka not upset with Sindoor...
Aashka Goradia, the lead actress in Sindoor Tere Naam Ka isn't upset
with the fact that the show is soon going to go off air. "I am not
disappointed at all. It's a call jointly taken by the channel and
the producer. I did the show for four months and I had a good time
doing it. At some point of time every show has to come to an end. So
is the case with Sindoor," says the actress.
However, one can't help but feel sorry for her because her earlier
serial Akela went off air due to bad TRPs and her role in Kahin to
Hoga too ended abruptly before the serial shut off. Though Aashka is
being brave about Sindoor, she admits that when Akela ended she was
disappointed. "The audience is just not ready for anything
different. They seem to like only saas-bahu sagas. Anyone who says
he or she is making or doing something different on television is
clearly lying," she says explaining why the super natural serial had
no takers. Ask Aashka about her next career move and she says it is
bit too early to say anything because she is still busy with Sindoor
till the end of next month.
Gurdeep Kohli, the original lead who quit the show after her
marriage because of differences with producers Jay and Kinnari Mehta
must be having the last laugh
