Discussion:How sucessful has Aashka been? - Page 2

This thread is about how successfully Aashka has been able to portray Arpita, & not about comparison between Aashka & Gurdeep. So, why compare them? Both have their own style of acting & both are competent actors.

But since everyone is comparing them, I'd like to say here that Vedika's character has already lived its life in the show. This role had various shades from the mentally unstable girl, the dutiful wife, the tapori Lali, the completely mad Anamika to the doting mother & the successful career woman.

Aashka is really talented & is giving full justice to her role. However, I'd like to see other shades to her character instead of just shedding tears all the time. I'm sure the opportunity will come to her, so just give her time. Then, we can compare the two.

& yes, surely the show has got more interesting lately. But the credit for it must go to the writers/directors since they decide the storyline & not Aashka or Gurdeep or Sachin for that matter.

to be honest when ashka joined i really didnt like her much. i dont know what it was. i guess i was more attached to gurdeep. but now my opinion has totally changed. 10 out of 10 for aashka and all the best for her in the future.

ashka is really very good... a very good actress with a good range... her voice is very good... and i feel more matching in chemistry with dhruv ...

Aashka is really very good, too good amazing her acting and her role is just awesome

She is much better than Gurdip and with her role and acting the serial's TRP rating were bound to increase. Sindoor has become better than b4,

Now its worth watching b4 it was just a pain to watch it, b4 it was just dragging and was boring, its ratings were also dropping until Aashka entered the show

I think Aaksha has done a terrific job so far. The ratings for the show have also gotten higher when Gurdeep left..it might not have to do with her...but they still got higher when Aaksha stepped in. The story is getting more interesting. No offence to Gurdeep fans, but i dont think Gurdeep gave her best to the show like Aaksha is doing now. Gurdeep never really felt Vedika's character like Aaksha is doing to Arpita. Arpita isn't Vedika's replacement, but is doing a great job while Vedika is out! Completely agree with you zeba, she's not relpacing Vedika but is giving her best to her character..something gudeep never did, she held back alot. This shol dbe huge for Aashka since Vedika-dhruv made such a HUGE hit, and i know a lot of people thought this wouldn't work but it did!! Sinndoors back to its good days😛
