Why?

For the life of me I cannot understand this nonsense. Why would Kajal not want to tell Raunak the truth?
They think Raunak will not be able to take it, but look at the way his monster mom has messed up his life and continues to do so. He is depressed for last 5 years, he is frustrated and angry now, and who knows what else mommy dearest's schemes can trigger? How are they really (Kajal and Akshay) protecting Raunak?Have Cvs not heard that medicine can be bitter but needed to save a life?

If Cv's answer is killing off Akshay and bring Kajal and Raunak together, we will see the typical scheming saas - mahaan bahu drama shoved down our throats.

Well as much as I am liking the way things are going but I do agree that I don't want to see too much of saas bahu drama. As of now Kajal is shown to be a very strong minded and opiniated woman who does not shy away from taking a stand against Janki and in no way is a typical bechari heroine and I like that about her character...so far I am liking the pace of this show..as someone rightly said that story is the hero of this show...so far they haven't dragged any track and I want the things to stay that way...from the beginning everyone knew that love story is not the main story of this show and I am pretty ok with it till the time the story line is kept interesting , pacey and crisp just like now.

Yes but on one hand Sakshi is strong and stands up to Janki but then also saves her from being exposed. I think it's foolish on Sakshi's part knowing how dangerous Janki can be. In trying to spare Raunak's feelings she is taking too many chances with Janki's evil nature
