Why did Kajal go to Raunak's place?

I am not sure I understood Kajal's motives in going to wedding venue. She wanted to be mahaan and did not care about sacrificing her brother's happiness? OR she was trying to save him from a mother in law like Janki? OR there is some secret stuff going on that we have no idea about?

Its got to be more than what is being shown right now. The promo with the dupatta and her at the temple. It seems she wants to know what happened in the past. That's why I think there is more to her presence there then meets the eye. Hopefully it is an interesting reason
