I think that also has a name - Shatru-bhava-bhakti. People like Kans, Ravan, Kumbhakarna they had this kind. Like, they WANTED Krishna to kill them so that they would be united with him.

Basically the fact that nothing bad will ever come out of your encounter with God. ❤️

Putana's interaction with Kanha has a mixture of Vatsalya-bhava and Shatru-bhava. For that one split second that she was actually feeding Kanha as a mother overturned the tables for her.

It wasn't a foster mother thing cause for Krishna there is nothing called a foster-something; that ONE guy who never held any grudge for anyone, ever!

Krishna is born already?!

So I'm gonna put in my reactions on the episodes starting from where Rohini maiya is brought back to Gokul as Vasudev's wife the queen:

Rohini's soo happy and glowing when she learns that her pregnancy is indeed a divine miracle!

Oh and look at Yashoda blush! ☺️ I'm positively crying out right now! Their happy faces are soo beautiful to watch hun!

OMG Aslam Khan ji here again as a Rishi! 😲😆

Also Mathura ke praja look suspiciously close to the Ayodhya guys!

Kans' atyaachar was a bit difficult to watch, I skipped most of it (If Krishna can fast forward, then I can too! 😆)

The song Der Na Kar Prabhu used to be one of my favourite songs though growing up! It's got a sense of familiarity with the God, which I most adore. This quality is present in most of RS' songs! The idea that God is not someone very high and far from you, but he's just as close as you keep him!

OMG here comes baby Kanha! Just look at that itty bitty little boy, the little blue ball too! Just look at him playing with his little toys inside Devaki maiya!

This shloka is just so so cute! Then comes Hey Nath Narayan Vaasudevah! That incredulity: it's YOU, it's really YOU in there, you've come at last!

That flower carpet OMG! You can really see the love oozing out hun!

Devaki maiya legit looks doubly beautiful, with all the fears and tears gone, just one divine light in her life now!

Also Vasudev's look that he gives all the flowers! 😆

And that beautiful golden light on their faces!

Aww and look at Devaki maiya sassing that guard master! He's so freaking terrified at the prospect of him being framed for the terrible Gods and their lack of flower-cleaning facilities! 🤣

Here on, I'd like to believe for the remainder of the 8th pregnancy, every day the guards cleaned out their cell, and every single day the Gods remembered to carpet the whole thing. Imagine the work load! 🤣

OMG, Kans guessing Krishna's leela in staged pehle hi! 😆

"Phool laa sakta hai, toh bachcha bhi le jaa sakta hai?" Tell me honestly what were his marks on that astrology exam? 🤓

Or maybe Vishnu was listening in. and he went, "Good for me! You've got me a great plan yourself! Tathaastu!" 🤣

Yashoda's expression after Yogmaaya enters her womb is so delicate and serene!

Aww both of them dreaming about the little wonder that is to come! ❤️

Yashoda just keeps repeating his dream, it's so lovely hun!

Maharshi Garg is soo serene hun, just such a lovely param bhakt!

Yashoda's god bharai was one of the sweetest scenes there!

Nand baba bhavan ujiyaro aavego,

Brij mein brij ko dulaaro aavego!

Just look at all the villagers showering him with love even before he's born hun!

All the girls have a such a lovely relation with Nand Baba! The way they pull him to dance with them! 😆❤️

And just look at them teasing and negotiating with Yashoda! Nand-Yashoda were already the most loved Maiya-Baba of the whole village! 🤗

Ooh now I get it why I can't recognize Nand Baba as Chanoor...his nose looks different! 😳

Why is Kans so unduly terrified of a snake eh? 🤪

Aww look at Nand baba, himself rushing in to see baby Balram! And aah, look at the little tyke's face....all RS' serial babies are so amazingly cute!

Pro, all the Janmashtami episodes are simply classic and full of divinity from beginning to end. You can feel the love and devotion from both couples: Devaki-Vasudev and Nand-Yashoda. You feel like you're experiencing their excitement and anticipation along with them. The flower scene in the jail cell is one of my favorite scenes. It's so cute, funny and divine all at the same time! 😆
