Shobha, Gayatri Devi and Puru run for their lives as Anairaj and his soldiers chase them.
After a long run, Gayatri Devi feels exhausted. She asks Shobha and Puru to leave her behind as she could not run any longer. Shobha and Puru manage to hide Gayatri Devi before Anairaj could notice them.
Anairaj reaches the spot where Shobha and the others had halted for a while. He gets apprehensive when he notices an expensive piece of jewelery in the middle of the jungle.
Vallabhdev and his army face Mahmud Ghaznavi and his army before they could enter the kingdom of Devpatan.
Vallabhdev asserts that he will not allow Mahmud Ghaznavi to loot the treasures of the Somanth temple and wages a war on the Sultan's army.
Just before the battle could begin, Bhanuman assures Mahmud Ghaznavi that he would take care of the situation without bloodshed.
Bhanuman tries to convince Vallabhdev to allow Mahmud Ghaznavi to loot the riches of the Somath temple. He explains that since the Chalukya brothers were killed, Vallabhdev must bow down and follow the Sultan's commands.
An angry Vallabhdev believes that Bhanuman could have laid down his life to protect Bharuch from getting invaded by Mahmud Ghaznavi. He further states that he strongly believes that Bhanuman must have deceived the Chalukya brothers by supporting the Sultan.
Vallabhdev is about to strike Bhanuman when Bhanuman compels him to think that even after his death; Mahmud Ghaznavi would invade Devpatan and ruin the kingdom like Bharuch. Bhanuman also states that Mahmud Ghaznavi has promised him that after looting the riches, he would not ruin the Somnath temple. Vallabhdev feels helpless.
