Kirit Chalukya tried to strangulate Indumati for deceiving him and his family.
At that moment, Shobha reaches the chamber and requests Kirit to spare Indumati. Kirit refuses to let go and asserts that a wicked woman like Indumati must pay for her sins. Shobha compels Kirit to spare Indumati as she was her mother.
Without wasting any moment, Indumati escapes from the hall. Before dying, Kirit tells Shobha that Dadda Chalukya was no more. Shobha screams out in plight when Kirit dies. Mahmud Ghaznavi and Bhanuman hear Shobha's scream.
Shobha quickly hides realizing that Mahmud Ghaznavi and Bhanuman were walking towards her. She gets apprehensive when baby Chaula starts crying. Shobha notices Puru and tells him about Kirit and Dadda's death.
A mute Puru signals Shobha and informs her that Dadda was alive. He takes Shobha and Gayatri Devi to the secluded place where he had kept Dadda. Puru gets shocked when he fails to find Dadda.
It is later revealed that Bhairav had kidnapped Dadda. Bhairav is elated as he believes that Rudrabhadra would be happy with him.
Keeping Shobha, Gayatri Devi and Chaula's safety in mind, Puru convinces Shobha to leave from Bharuch. As they leave from Bharuch, Shobha recollects that she has dropped the necklace which Gangsarvagya had given her. She asks Puru to wait for her until she goes to the palace and brings the necklace.
Shobha manages to find the necklace. However, before she could leave, Mahmud Ghaznavi stops her.
