Indumati noticed Shobha's arrow, while passing through the hallway.
Indumati quickly hides the arrow as she believes her plan to get Shobha thrown out from Dadda's life may get foiled if she keeps misplacing her arrows and does not practice properly.
Kirit Chalukya orders his servants to leave the royal bathing pool. When Kirit tries to show his dominance over Indumati, she mocks the disabled king on his condition.
Overcome by frustration and loathing for himself, Kirit pushes Indumati in anger and asks her to bring another bowl of bathing perfumes.
While thinking about his physical disability, Kirit accidentally falls inside the pool. He struggles for life as he is unable to sustain himself.
Shobha hears Kirit calling out for help and rushes to his aid. She immediately calls out for help. The palace servants help Kirit to come out from the pool.
Indumati rages at Shobha for not calling her on time. She adds that she is thankful that she could come on time to save Kirit's life. As anticipated by Indumati, Kirit holds Shobhna responsible for his condition. A servant tries to clear Kirit's misunderstanding; however Indumati doesn't give her an opportunity to speak.
