This is not new for Hotstar. So didn't worry about it too much. They don't even read the WU before writing the summary
Anyways I loved the parallel scenes between Shaurya Anokhi and Shaan Aastha. But wish they were shown at a stretch instead of the random switches. The episode was soothing, like the calm before the storm. Tomorrow Devi Ma is going to be on Kaikeyi mode.
I thought the changing of scenes was too fast for my liking. I would have preferred if they kept it 4 mins here and 4 mins there then changing every 1 and half minutes. I had to watch it twice before I grasped what each character talked about in order to write this review.
Shaurya is too overconfident. He was busy staring at Anokhi and stopped following the map. Don't blame Google for his carelessness. And then he went round and round. Very bad with directions (only follows Devi Ma's directions), I must say. He was happy with Anokhi's thank you and sorry but tried to act humble. All the past baggages in their relationship has been dropped and now they can start afresh.
Please tell me it was a joke. Shaurya would never do this intentionally. He has earned that bit of a trust from me
Anokhi was looking cute munching on the interesting food. It is good that she taunted Shaurya. I would have done the same. He was in the wrong but would not admit it. He refused to take help out of ego. Shaurya saying he chooses his own path and Anokhi pointing out that his path is meandering and twisted foreshadowed how he will go about their relationship.
No, I was thinking the type of professional relationship they have, a student cannot dare to say this to her teacher. I have nothing against prof-student relation, but at times I tend to relate this to a real life scenario.
It is understandable that everyone is aware of their feelings except these two. Parents' antennas are always tuned to receive these signals first.
Aastha and Shaan - I don't think there was disdain in her tone when she asked him to address the complaints of his son and his family. Shaan has hurt Aastha, Shaurya and his family. Aastha doesn't hold any grudge against him because she respected his decision, but neither Shaurya nor his family has forgiven him. She does not have any expectations from him, they have, so she wants him to fulfill those. The "tumhara beta" was in the sense that she has lost her rights on him and can not do much for him even if she wants now. But he still considers Shaan his father and she wants him to choose Shaurya over her (during the birthday, Shaurya accused her of taking his father away. So it can be in that sense). About her lack of concern for Anokhi, I guess it is somewhere at the back of her mind. She just informed Shaan about their budding feelings, we still don't know how she feels about it. Today she merely placed the facts before him. Though somewhere she will tend to overcompensate here out of guilt and support the relationship because she wants Shaurya to be happy. Shaan, on the other hand is dismissive of it from the beginning because he too has a guilt of not supporting Aastha. He doesn't want Anokhi to suffer the same way as her. So their reaction is a product of their guilt. When they can think of it with a more open mind, they will be able to judge it better. Btw, Shaan was too cute trying to woo his lady love. I am glad they were not totally engrossed with themselves and discussed their son. (I am happy with what little I get.)
This perspective helps a bit. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Nothing to say about Devi and the rest of the family.
