Saturdays officially have the best episodes of the week. Shakhi or not, content-wise, I felt this was better than the rest of the week. In this episode:

Shaurya: This man doesn't realize his mistake. Until Thursday, I felt it was realistic to have him not realize so soon. Realizations take time and redemption takes longer. However, seeing not a tad bit of self-realization from his side till now worries me. He assumes he is guilty and that's why he thinks about Anokhi 24/7. I feel it's just his blooming love. He doesn't want her to go nor he wants to go to SIAC Patiala. If he was indeed guilty, he would have stopped her, yes, but at the same time, he won't hesitate from going to Patiala. Sometimes I wonder if it is possible to love someone while misunderstanding the same person. Then I remind myself that this is ITV we are talking about. And like dude, if you are actually guilty, why don't you say sorry?

Credit where it's due: He acted like a true partner when he encouraged Anokhi to fight for herself. Isn't that what better halves do? When you lack confidence, they become your strength and show the right way. I was right. He didn't know she was accused of cheating until she told him. I loved that he trusted her immediately. He, who couldn't trust her in the beginning, now trusts her more than his sisters, bade papa and chachu. There were some teacherly instincts too. As a teacher, he knew who cheated and who did not. I appreciate Shaurya for defending Anokhi in front of his Bade Papa, who he considers his ideal. Though he has no say in front of this old man yet, I am glad he tried and won the first war. Now don't feel like it was not a complete win. Shaurya did say that rustication is not a punishment for cheating. Let's assume Anokhi cheated. The teacher could fail her, but not rusticate her according to rules. So even if they know that Kity-Bebo cheated, Shaurya can fail them but not rusticate them. As much as I dislike these two, rusticating them would be against SIAC rules and pretty much unfair to them. During the ragging track as well, Shaurya wanted to suspend them and rusticate Anmol. Tej agreed however when Anokhi said she doesn't want to ruin their career and thus will forgive them, he considered her words. I hope no one will say Shaurya is unfair now because he did try to follow the protocols back then. He tried to follow protocols now. If Anokhi didn't say the suspension was unnecessary, they would be suspended for a month and Anmol would be rusticated. Coming to the present, he will fail Kitty-Bebo in this exam. After this episode, I know Shaurya will not be a reflection of Shaan. He is neither blind nor scared. He knows his family is biased. Maybe he doesn't say anything because he doesn't want to risk being abandoned by them as he was abandoned by Shaan-Aastha. Post-marriage, I hope and believe that he will stand up for Anokhi (the right). As he said, "Main Anokhi ka saath nahi de raha hu. Main sahi ka saath de raha hu" And then he will also have a wife to go to so he should not fear being abandoned again.

Anokhi: "Sabke haq ke liye ladti rahti ho aur jab khud ki baari aye?" "Main thak chuki hu sir" She is clearly tired of fighting for herself with no fault of her own. I understand her. I would call it humane too. However, her inability to fight for herself could easily be seen as her weakness rather than a phase where a human feels low. I did like the way she shooed Ahir away. Shaurya needed to see this. Maybe he would sulk a bit less then. Our Anokhi knows when to interact with a person and when not to.

Tej: All he cares about is his family and SIAC's reputation. When Anokhi gave her interview, it was Tej who voted for her and granted her admission to SIAC. He knew she was a star student. Even during the ragging track, though with a sour mind, he did consider suspending Kitty-Bebo and rusticating Anmol as he was getting pressure from the ministry. Now that his nieces are accused and his family's reputation is at stake, he rusticates Anokhi. Devil ka pati evil hi hoga.

Shaan-Aastha: They had no say then, they have no say now. As Anokhi's teacher, Aastha could at least give a character certificate on her behalf. I know SIAC directors don't like her, but the least she could do was try. Shaan came there only to be silenced by Tej. One more reason why I think Shaurya does not equal to Shaan. Despite Tej's attempts for distractions, he put forth his argument and won it. Their son helped Anokhi more than they could in this case.

Alok: He can do whatever when he is alone, but as soon as Tej comes in front of him, he has no say. If I am not wrong, he wants Tej's chair. And what does he do for it? Tej hain to Alok hain. Tej na to Alok na. He looked like a rat in front of the lion. No wonder Tej is full of pride. No one speaks in front of him!

Ahir: I know this guy is sweet, but at the same time he feels unreal. When there was no official work, why would he come to pick her up at her college? I would understand if he was shown to have a crush on Anokhi, but that is not the case. In the previous episode, he was worried if she got into trouble. Well, a girl in India is harassed every 22 minutes. Why doesn't Ahir run after all of them?

Precap: As feared, Shaurya thinks that helping her was enough. We and Anokhi know it is not. A small thank you to CVs. Even I thought it would go the typical ITV way and Anokhi turns mahaan to forgive him. Thank god it is not. Ab Shaurya Anokhi ko kaise manaega?

The only character I felt really sorry today was Shaan!

Not even Anokhi, she had her unofficial hero for her... πŸ˜† Ahir sleeping outside her college was class one insult to his profession... The one which has to be alert and out for public service! I hope they don't show him having crush on her...

Shaurya Shaurya Shaurya... His world has now started revolving around this one lady whom he seems to be falling for but is not ready to see through his mistakes and her character! 😭

One and only Gem is Anokhi... I cannot see her crying and humiliated anymore... Please give her a break.

I will only talk about Aastha and Shaan. I don't know why I am always more interested in supporting characters than the leads. I don't know, but I am weird like that.πŸ€”

I think now Shaurya the saviour is here, Aastha will take a backseat. Otherwise we know how far she can go for Anokhi. Going by her character, she would had come to SIAC and threatened them about going to higher authorities like she did during admission. But then how would Shaurya get to have his victory moment of tearing rustication letter and throwing it in the air (all I could think about was who was going to clean the mess he madeπŸ˜†).

And Shaan, this guy has no izzat anywhere, neither at home, nor at office. Though it is partly his own doing. Shaurya anyways does not listen to him. He could never do anything for his son in the past, nor will he in future. So it would be best if he moves to Kapurthala with Aastha and does some seva of his saas-sasur.😊

Nice as always. I loved Anokhi for her all decisions. Not going with ACP and not staying back

I feel pity for Shaan's character. He has no say of his own yaar. Just one reprimand from Tej and Shaan stopped. That's not how it should have been. Going into the room, he knew that people there wanted to rusticate Anokhi, so he should have developed his arguments much before.

I don't like the idea of Anokhi having an unofficial hero to be honest. I loved the fact that Shaurya encouraged her to fight for her own self. Afterward, I would have preferred if she fought her own case rather than Shaurya. Shaurya's words did her no good or what?

No, they won't show Ahir to have a crush on Anokhi. He is just a well-wisher. I was thinking the other day. I love the ACP character in the OG version. He would come when needed and not seem OTT. Here they have spoiled his character and profession since the beginning

Understandable. I know many people like that. Not from SAAKK forum but other forums.

I think now Shaurya the saviour is here, Aastha will take a backseat. Otherwise we know how far she can go for Anokhi. She could have at least tried. I won't mind if she failed and later Shaurya took over. Her bland reaction took on my nerves. Like you mentioned, her character demands that she fights for her student. So when she didn't, was it not a inconsistency in her character? Or was she scared of the Saberwals.

Shaurya was not there when he first came there, right? So this statement wouldn't apply to him unless Shaurya physically present and actually against Anokhi. To be honest, he let all these people walk over him and win every argument. Neither he could fight 25 years ago, nor he can fight now.

Word Count: 1

Thank you.

I agree about Anokhi. Going with the ACP would indirectly prove Shaurya right (that she wants favors) and it would leave a bad taste in mind.

Shaurya's inability to introspect really worries me too....he talks aloud about his feelings without coming to any real conclusion....and he's delusional if he thinks Anokhi should just get over what he said. After the episode, I really want Shaurya to be in a little bit of pain. I love angst! I also want a real "SORRY" based on a realization that he was wrong.

I know we appreciate that Shaurya did his part in saving Anokhi from rustication but that was his savior complex. As soon as he sees someone else "help" Anokhi, his pride gets in the way. I fear we're going to see this cycle over and over with Shaurya being hurtful towards Anokhi, saving her from a situation, and assuming everything is fixed. Maybe her leaving for Kapurtala will make him figure out that maybe he's not just afraid of losing a brilliant student from SIAC.

Anokhi made me so sad again. Just giving up and wanting to go back home. I know the FL in ITV needs trials and tribulations to succeed, but that girl has fought her family and society and it would be nice if she didn't have to fight Shaurya as well.

Hopefully Shaurya continues to stand up against the wrong Sabherwals do and shows himself as better than Shaan.

Devil ka pati evil hi hoga. True dat! This made me laugh! Tej and Alok are such pieces of shit.

Also, what the hell is up with Ahir. Like you said, he's unreal. His behavior makes no sense. He needs to investigate something regarding students to show up to SIAC over and over again. CVs need to give him a better reason.

I have a concern about the pacing of this show now. I know many are enjoying the fast pace. I feel like we're compromising on the quality. The ragging incident took it's time resolving, while a rustication incident took one day. They declared her rusticated at the beginning of the episode and let her back by the end. I want some time spent on scenes, the dialogues, and the editing. Maybe the TRPs are the reason and they're just trying to fast forward to the love story before Starplus gets their interfering claws on our show.
