Bomb struck Mumbai-Hussian

Mumbai seems to be jinxed of late! First it was the downpour, followed by the Shiv Sena riots and now the worst hit of all times, the serial blasts on 7/11. Though our telly actors might not be that affected as the common man on the streets but they surely went through their share of tensions for the well-being of their loved ones.
Smriti Z Irani was shooting for Kyunki… when the blasts took place and was

nervous till she heard about her daughters well being. "I can't put in words what I feel about the whole issue as I'm dumbstruck. My daughter was stuck in Bandra and the phone lines were jammed so we couldn't get through her. After the shoot, I went to the Sion hospital to donate blood and came back home in the early hours of the next morning. One of our party (BJP) worker lost his brother in the blasts which is really sad.
Mumbaikars have really gone out of their way and helped the victims, donated blood and volunteered to provide food and medicines. They didn't wait for the higher authorities to initiate and contributed big time in coping up with the tragedy. Today I'm back to work and have also sent my kids to the school. So we are once again on our feet for now."

Kiran Dubey is currently holidaying in Shimla and ashamed of the incompetent

administrators of the country. "I feel extremely sad and sorry for what has happened in the city. Though very little can be done about it, its ultimately the common man has suffered in the bargain. And frankly I've no trust and respect for our government and the politicians as they have given us opportunities to make us feel bitter about them.
I had helped in the relief work during the floods last year and I would be more than willing to help the people once I am back in the city."

Shweta Keswani was in a meeting when the blasts occurred and is currently on a break till the shoot for her new show, Arrange Marriage commences. "I am shocked! Mumbai is cursed. First the rains, then the Sena trouble and now the blasts, all have shattered Mumbai. I fail to understand why people can't just live and let live. One of my spot boys missed the blast by a few minutes as he got down at Mira Road. I would love to take up some relief work but don't know where to start from."

Amar Upadhayay who was at home is disgusted with the condition of the city.

"I think it's very inhuman. After the blasts in 1993 these blasts were major and I think the government should take a drastic step, considering Mumbai is the commercial capital and it can't be targeted. Mumbai is a sensitive target and all the problems seem to have started again since last year. If my kith and kin are in trouble I'd be out hunting for them. The stock exchange has gone up today and it's a slap on the b…. who have done all this."

Hussain who was shooting for Kumkum got an sms about the blasts and had a tough time to come to terms with the fact that hundreds of people lost their families.
"I could not sleep yesterday and it was tough for all of us to get back to normalcy. Why can't people live in peace. Innocent people are targeted for no fault of theirs.
