Asmin: it means someone who is . . . little esoteric . . . as in someone whose being is absolute . . . hence, Asmin the healer

Varya: Means Form . . . she is someone who can take any powers' form . . . keep watching

Harykash alias Har: is one of the names of Shiva . . . an angry roop of Shiva that plays with fire

Mastishk is mind, Hriday heart, Drishika means one who can see . . . Eklavya, Shunyaa and Shlok coming up next . . .

And hey Asht is NOT Vindoo . . . . eeeeeeeeee . . . it's the guy who played 'Nitin' in RocketSingh . . . Ranbir's immediate Senior . . .

It's great to hear from the creative team...you guys are doing a fabulous job with this show and it's truly unlike any other show in this genre before on Indian TV.

Thank you for all the info about the meanings of the character names and their superpowers....this sounds really interesting and is making me look forward to the upcoming epis more....and I think it's really cool that you guys are using our mythology as a basis cuz we have such a rich mythological history....

And wow...Asht is that guy from Rocket Singh?? Woah! LOL...I SO didn't recognize him...haha...he did a great job in the movie though....this role looks interesting too.

Hi Anuraadha! Seven definitely sounds intriguing. I am sure that it must've been a lot of research trying to put together such a complex plot. Varya can take any powers' form? Wow that definitely sounds interesting. So you mean she can fly like Hriday, read minds like Mastisk et al?

Hey Anuraadha!😊 Thanks for explaining the powers and all. Varya's one sounds really interesting. Initially I thought she could control nature. But now I am even more impressed she can take any powers form. Really looking forward to watching that.

Furthermore, keeping the names based on their powers and that also Sanskrit names has been a really smart move. The names are very.....catchy....you know. Even though it took some time for me to get all the names properly set in my mind, but the fact that the names are unique and ummm...sophisticated😆 makes them very attractive.

Looking forward to tonight's episode. Oh, and btw, I also like it that you guys have made the show weekly👏. It ensures quality and also keeps audiences interest captivated.

A whole year of working all by myself before the production began . . . wonder what you thought of Ep 2 . . . btw . . . an honest confession . . . I HATED the first ep . . . thought it was soooooo different from how it was written . . . but the 2nd took all my complaints away . . . it's finally looking like what it should . . . but what do you guys think?????? Now that there's Shunyaa, Shlok and Eklavya in as well . . . would love to know what you have to say . . .

Hey Palakashi! lemme answer that . . . I wrote seven in 2006 when Heroes hadn't even aired . . . I sat with the concept cause I thought it should be a Film . . . that is how I went to YRF in 2007 . . . but everyone felt that it would make a better series . . . there was so much story!!!! Thats when Adi asked me to watch Heroes and I watched the first 8 eps . . . and was amazed at the power similarities . . . but heck, ALL superheroes seem to have similar powers you see . . . cause they also have to be visual . . . they are the same in X Men as well . . . anyways, like i've mentioned before . . . each of these powers has a base in Indian mythology and is related to the story ahead . . . so there was really no need to copy anyone else . . . i had so much story going anyways . . . eg Hriday HAS to be from Manipur not because he's like Hiro whos chinky but because Manipur is related to the mythology . . . is a big centre in the Mahabharata (can't tell u more rite now :) . . . however, the 'visual treatment' of the show is definitely closer to Heroes than anything else . . . in tersms of multi track as well as being a lot more realistic . . . like they don't wear catuits and stuff and are normal people . . . but trust me from the very second episode you will stop comparing it to Heroes . . . it really is its own story . . . leave the rest to ur comments :)
