Indu asks Bhuvaneshwar if he is thinking about getting Payal married. He says he is trying to find a suitable match for Payal as Payal is special.

Payal reaches office and sees Ayodha and walks into her office. She calls her assistant and asks him what Ayodhya is doing her. Assitant says that he is a big contractor and must have come in regards to that. Payal asks him to send Ayodhya in. Ayodhya comes in and sits. Payal asks him why he was beating Bushan. Ayodhya says Bushan can help him get contract. Payal says Bushan is government employee how can he help. Payal calls her assistant and gets Ayodhya thrown out.

Dev, who has fallen in love with Payal remembers meeting her, the misunderstandings and how he has fallen in love with her.

Ayodhya tells Jogeshwar about Payal. Jogeshwar thinks that if Dev marrys her then Dev will get a government job and a lifelong income through Payal. Jogeshwar thinks to use some tricks and make Payal fall for Dev. Jogeshwar goes to meet Jaiswal to get ideas from him.

Jogeshwar meets Jaiswal. They discuss about 40 lakhs being spent on marriage. Jaiswal sees Payal's mama listening and tells Jogeshwar that his work is done. Both of them then discuss about dowry issues in the society. Jogeshwar speaks against it and says he will not take dowry for his son. Payal's mama is listening to their conversation.

During a marriage, groom's father asks for gold as dowry. Jogeshwar fights against the idea to impress Payal's Mama. He threatens to call the police. Jogeshwar is leaving when Mama calls him and tells him about his niece Payal. Jaisal asks him to talk to Bhuvaneswar and tell them when to come. Jogeshwar says he wants to change the old age practice of dowry. Mama is impressed by listening to his thoughts.

Dev reaches Payal's house and sees Payal come out into the balcony to dry her hair. He stares at her and a friend gets him paan and he gets distracted. On the other side Payal leaves. Dev yells at his friend for disturbing him.
