Looks like director K S Ravikumar is slowly finalizing the cast of his Bollywood flick, which is based on the Tamil hit Saamy. While Sanjay Dutt will be playing the lead, we hear Ravikumar has zeroed in on Prakash Raj to play his villain. Ravikumar confirms, "Yes, Prakash Raj will be playing the negative lead in my film; he'll be locking horns with Sanjay Dutt." Tell him that the industry is abuzz with reports that on Dutt's insistence that Priyamani play the female lead, the director laughs it off. "I haven't spoken to Priyamani about this film. I'm working on finalizing list of cast and crew, and also the title, and I will be in a position to talk about it only after a week." Priyamani, however, says that someone has approached her manager for the film but is yet to get back.

Kota Srinivasa Rao made his debut as a villain on the Tamil screen with Saamy, which was directed by Hari. The film revolved around the story of a Deputy Commisioner of Police (played by Vikram) taking on an underworld don and how he overcomes him despite many hurdles to his professional and personal life.
