RAJINIKANTH BATS FOR ANNA HAZARE

The Superstar has reportedly given his wedding hall free of cost for three days to Anna's supporters

The Superstar seems to be a big supporter of Anna Hazare. So much so that he's taken personal interest in Team Anna's campaign against corruption and has even let them use the premises of his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam free for the Chennai Chapter of the team!
A source says, "Anna's supporters in Chennai were hunting for a venue to showcase their support for the cause. They had approached Latha Rajinikanth too and she immediately agreed to give them the venue. As it is for a cause close to Rajini, the hall was given free of cost as well." One of the reasons, add sources, is because the Endhiran star feels that corruption is a real threat to society. "Though he is not too vocal about his feelings on any subject, Rajini is very passionate about eradicating corruption from the country. Now that Anna's movement is working towards the same, he feels that supporting it will give the country and its people the direction that's needed," adds the source.
This is not the first time that the Superstar has supported Anna's cause. Even when he was hospitalized in Singapore a few months ago, the actor was said to be keenly following the social activist's progress and the support he garnered across the nation.
