Rajini wax statue now?
As a part of Rajini's birthday celebrations, his 63-thousand fan clubs are also about to start an online campaign reportedly asking Madame Tussauds to have a waxwork of the star. Producer S Ramanathan, who has made films in the South and in Bollywood ("Mumbai to Goa", "Geraftaar", "Mahaan"), has apparently written to the powers that be, asking them to bestow the Padma Vibhushan on Rajinikanth. He says, "Rajini is a super human being and deserving of all the honours that people or the administration may confer on him. He will never advocate his own cause, having known him closely for over two decades, I can vouch for his simplicity and honesty.'' Rajini was given the Padma Bhushan a decade ago.
