It looks like Amala Paul has truly become one hot property in Tamil cinema, with all biggies vying to feature her in their film. The latest is that this 'Mynaa' girl will be pairing up with Suriya, in the sequel of 'Singam' directed by Hari.
The sequel has the tentative title 'Singam 2' and will be directed by Hari with Suriya playing protagonist again and Amala Paul is touted to play the female lead in this action packed venture. Anushka played the lead in the original.
Hari requested 'Vettai' filmmaker Lingusamy to screen some scenes from the film as Amala Paul is a part of it and once he saw them Hari was sure about his choice and seems to have gone ahead with it.
Suriya is currently busy with work on 'Maatraan' with KV Anand where he will sport five looks (different looks not different characters as a section of media earlier reported) and Amala in a film with Siddharth, 'Vettai' and few Telugu projects.
The film will be announced officially once the other cast and crew are finalized.
