Silambarasan and Mallika Sherawat get going

The item song featuring Silambarasan and Mallika Sherawat in Osthi was shot at the AVM Studios in Chennai. Actors Mayilsamy, Santhanam and others participated in this shooting which began during the night and went on till the wee hours in the morning.

The entire Osthi unit was charged up with the item song rendered by LR Easwari and T Rajendar being played at the background for which the stars danced. Silmabarasan and director Dharani are planning to release the film for Diwali and working overtime to make it on time to join the Diwali race.

Osthi is the remake of the Hindi smash hit Dabangg and it has Richa playing Silambarasan's lead pair.
