Lekin Jyoti di, singing is only one element of the marking criteria. Apu needs to strike the right balance between his performance and singing in sur. Perhaps, it will be easier for him when he picks a song that is not going to need his full concentration as it will flow easily from his baritone voice.

I guess u r right Apu needs to select some easy going songs where he can show a bit of dancing and all that😳..but still I don't think he deserved 7 today..

He was better than Narayni and Mouni in the Sur-Taal department,only mayb his performance was not there because he was concentrating more on his singing😳

Dont u think if he chose the old songs then it wud have meant that he can sing limited songs, certain old songs ONLY. Isnt he doing justice with the latest song he chose?😕

First that Karan praises Apu and tells him that he is expecting a lot from him thus indicating that he is among the best and then gives him only 7points..

Then Karan sayus Mouni was scared and bla bla bla...and then gives her 8 points😕

So whats the basic criteria of Judging??/😕

And yes the contestents r selecting their own songs I guess😳

And yes he should try out any genre of songs to prove his versatility😳

^^Well definitely Karan is the Mukhiya of the gals team, why will he not give a 8 to Mouni. But Mouni's previous performance was better as per ur update..then are the judges judging on todays episode or yesterday's? 😕

For now I am accepting a 7 but I wanna see 10 10 from tomorrow onwards. 😃

Actually Mouni has got a good voice quality but what about the sur-taal?? 😕

Anyways hopefull tomorrow Apu should score at least 9 if not full 10 😳

i could not agree with you more, he definately deserved 8 if not more. and i dont believe sumeet deserved a 10 9 or if stretch me 9.5 but not 10.
Also i dont think it is fair as he has been in a singing show before.
If he wins i believe its not fair.

Ok, i dunno...but i think he COMPLETELY deserved at LEAST 8, at LEAST! He sang so well...a lot better than many of the contestants, he deserved an 8 at least, no doubt and haha im not even being biased cause i was never a GREAT BIG Apu fan till recently

Actually Anu, I feel that Apu should be careful regarding song selection. The song 'Kya Mujhe Pyar Hai', he sang it quite well. But still in the beginning, I felt his voice was a bit too soft for the song. Then he sang 'Ankhon main teri ajab si adaayen hai', which is sung by Abhijeet. Now Abhijeet is a singer who has a really sharp voice and a lot of intensity and passion in his style of singing. But what is the trademark of Apu's style of singing is the genuinity in his voice and the romantic touch. I totally feel that he shouldn't try out songs of Abhijeet. Apu should sing songs of Kishore Kumar or Kumar Sanu perhaps. Because in the voice of both these singers there is a strange genuinity. There is an element of total romance. Kishore Kumar's songs like O saathi re...tere bina bhi kya jeena, Kora Kaagaz tha ye mann mera, Jeevan se bhari teri aankhein..majboor kare jeene ke liye, Tu tu hai wohi..dil ne jise apna kaha...chookar mere mann ko..kiya tune kya ishaara, these songs of Kishore Kumar will sound really good in Apu's voice. If he sings songs of Kumar Sanu, I would like to hear him singing songs like Saanson ki Zaroorat hai jaise...bas ek sanam chahiye aashiqui ke liye or Nazar ke saamne jigar ke paas...koi rehta hai woh ho tum or songs like Kitna haseen chehra....kitni pyaari aankhein, tum mile dil khile...aur jeene ko kya chahiye, aye kaash ke hum...from Kabhi haan kabhi naa.

He would sound great singing this kind of total romantic songs. Regarding fast songs, I think he can sing songs like Maine pyaar tumhi se kiya hai...from Phool aur kaante, or perhaps some fast songs of Sonu Nigam.

But regarding singing songs of Abhijeet, Abhijeet is such a singer who has got a really passionate voice and Apu doesn't have such a sharp shrill kind of voice. His voice is soft, romantic, vibrant and also has a lot of genuinity which suits romantic songs. He has a vibrant voice so songs of Kumar Sanu would suit him a lot. Don't you feel so? 😳

After watching the episodes I was just speechless. I mean what was that???? They all are so besure. Is it a singing show or a comedy show. Its just crazy.

And Anu as far as the low marks go, it really does not matter. Both the Jhalak seasons are proof enough that the celebrity who has larger fan base wins whether he or she deserves it or not.. So don't worry Apu is going to be safe. 😉

But honestly I am not too happy with his song selection though. Old, sad songs are his forte.. He can really sing them good... These new peppy songs don't suit him very much. Well that's just my opinion.

"Akon Mai Ajab Se AjabSe Adayen Hai " 👏 👏 👏 He was awesome I felt I am seeing part 3 so many times when Apu sings and I oved it he was great !! He def deserved a 8.5 for that .. Thou as KJo said " Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai " was better but he will rock to a 9.5 in the next !!! 👏 👏 👏
