Saanchi's character is not perfect, I agree, but Swarda's acting was convincing. Veer was determined to make her cry, and when he finds out she helped him, he has fallen i love with her. Ok maybe, but what has he done for her that she went from barely tolerating him and his pranks to being in love... that was so forced! Once they decided to make her fall in love she leaves a conference to feed this fool golgappas, - really? Yes she looks older then him, that's why it does not make sense to pair them.
Veer's character loves his mom, dadi and sisiter - great - he once brought this up with his father. He works in the same hospital and he cannot think of looking at Vikrant's file. For that matter the Dr Malhotra too did not think of it. The only time he texted his sister was when he wanted to tell her about his love. If he was that suspicious of Malhotra's intentions should he not check on her? Wow the writer needs help in defining this character. The actor is great he does what is expected of him, Playing this role for any good looking actor in Indian TV or cinema is not very hard. There is no depth in the role. Some times his pranks and his flirting are cute, sometimes they are stupid. Sure this girl looks older, but all "girl" suggestions for him were from other serials and they were all "fair" girls. when do we move on from this colonial culture? Getting a girl is not the only way he can be the male lead. He is perfectly well the male lead without a girl. An idiot character can also be a lead. Giving him a girl, because he is the Male lead is the tried and tired idea. Let him mature, or give him a girl who is willing to play with life like he is...
