It is so strange na ki all mainstream serials focus on only family and in laws. Agar friends dikhane hai toh youth show nahin toh kuch nahin. Also having friends in d opposite sex is also shown.
Ya toh ladka-ladki fall in love nahin toh no friendship๐Ÿ˜†

Agree with this ๐Ÿ˜‰ idk why its always necessary to show a guy and girl who are best friends fall in love

People say kabir and sanchi are a total no because
1) They share a student teacher relationship.
2) Almost 10 yrs age difference
3) They have same personalities. So they will be boring to watch.
4)Sanchi has already fallen for veer. So now if she falls for kabir after marriage, then the same track of FL falling in love with the husband even though if she was madly in love with someone else.
5) Kabir is not related to anyone in this show. So saanchi getting married to him will not progress the story any further.

So according to them veer Sanchi isn't clichd as well girl boy fallin in love parents enemies girl becomes enemys daughter in law ๐Ÿฅฑ they do not have same personalities they have some similarities and even if they did why is always that the two ppl have to be totally opposite to each other???? Anyways idgaf ๐Ÿ˜› its good to know that a number of swasan fans think this pairing sucks ๐Ÿ˜Š I have noticed these san veer fans dont give any importance to acting ๐Ÿ˜›

I so wish Star one was running still

Plsss don't remind me of the good old days with STAR ONE...they had mostly youth based shows and they were awesome
I still miss shows like DMG, GEET etc

I have also noticed that most Hindi soaps never really focus on indian Muslims, christians, Sikhs and Buddhists ๐Ÿ˜• they are almost always exclusively Hindu I dont have a problem with Hindus or anything but its just sad to hardly ever see a show with a different religion.

Thankfully this scenario is changing. There are quite a few shows with a Muslim background. But looking at the population in India, regions dominate d screen. Sikh is shown intermittently though in many shows. Quite a few where Punjabi families is the theme. With regards to Jains there was Nisha. But as much as it's difficult to find a show on Hindus in Pakistan or America, it will be difficult to find a show on Parsis or Christians in India.
But I think, the makers also play it safe. Considering how religion is a very sensitive topic in India, they don't want the show to shut due to protests so dont venture into some other territory

I agree...a jodi should have a natural charm, something that makes you wanna look at them and say wooowww !!!!
I think this is what I call chemistry or spark
When nok jhok is forced , it takes away all the charm, no matter how good looking the jodi might be
In Nisha aur Uske cousins I loved Nisha with Viraj, but unfortunately they paired her with someone else

That is true...Humsafar is such a good example
At some point I felt sorry for the 3rd angle, although she was so bitchy and when she gave up her life, I truly felt sad
In Indian shows either they make the 3rd angle negative or bump off , only to bring them back from the dead after some months
Why can't a 3rd angle also not have a happy end with someone else

@cherry :

For starters...try the Pakistani serial HUMSAFAR with Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan
I think you will love it...
That was also the 1st Pakistani serial that some recommended to me many years back and I must say, I never regretted watching it

Now I only blame vikram for his role. Can't the guy see for himself or judge himself, what his role has been reduced to? Why is he not making a noise? Or maybe he is happy to have screen time only for 2 min, less stress maybe. I some how feel he cannot cope with the the stressful environment of daily soaps.
