Idk how well known neha is but I searched her up her most known role to date is rajji from bani. She was in two episodes of pyar tune kya kiya which I have watched and I must say she was fab in it 😳 she did one episode of savdhaan India and played a grey shaded/negative role in some show called piya rangrezz. Idk what other shows she has done. So by the looks of it she isn't a newcomer to the tv industry so i wouldn't be surprised if CVs have casted her as the 2nd lead of SDCH.

And Swarda as Pragya.

I personally think Swarda fits the role of Pragya better.

I do think neha suits the character of pragya well because sanchi's character is boring as it is and I don't think swarda would have played pragya that great. Her character is quite bindaas type and for sure swarda would have made the character dull by her acting. 😆 I think instead pragya should have been given equal importance as sanchi. I think CVs were not looking for a fair girl to play the role of sanchi because in one episode she says "Mein gori nahi hu lekin kisi ne mujhe doctor banne se nahi roka" and if doesn't matter if a person is fair or dark its their personality and good deeds that matter.

@cherryfairy I agree with you on most, I think Swarda as an actress is fine, the character "Saanchi" - is boring weighed down by her mother's revenge. Justified as the mother is for her revenge, it is sad to see Saanchi weighed down by it, whereas Sunny is the younger and spoilt one, some of his antics make he wonder if he has some mental issues as well.

But ont he other side I truly love "pragya" she is great and she and Isha are already the second and third leads, I think,

there are 4 male bad guys- Malhotra, ashok, Adarsh and Chawla

5 bad females - Gayatri, her mom, Khusboo, Ria and Neeta.

4 FLs - Saanchi, pragya, Isha and Jaya

So at least 3 male leads - Kabir, Veer and a new one for Isha...

So really there should be at least 3 male leads and 4 FLs - Saanchi, pragya, Isha and Jaya

😆 that's a lot of leads I'm seeing for me I would like the pairings as:

Kabir-sanchi
Veer-pragya
Isha can be paired with one of veer's friends or a new entry

Haha I know but none of these leads are very well known so they cannot really object, besides they are all so good so they all need their own story told, with perhaps Saanchi, Veer and Kabir in every episode. Those actors are thinking oh god no please we will have no break if we are included in every episode :-)
