Even I couldn't make out whom veer will end up with. But I think in the Korean show, veer doesnt have much role. I think riya had more role. But yes veer does get attracted to saanchi because of her contrast nature. And like in SDCH, he comes from a wealthy family who doesn't get along with his father. Also after kabir, riya starts liking veer. But when veer also doesn't show any interest in her, she starts hating saanchi even more. But in the end,she gives up on both the boys and marries her fellow class mate.

Ria Ki buri kismat 😆 but here both veer and her hardly have a role to play. And it will become less if veer ends up with sanchi.

I'm a big fan of the korean drama Doctors Crush (I even did a vm) I watched it twice already even if they are some similarities I think this is not the same as the k-drama...
Yes the revenge plot: corruption reminded me of it but Doctors Crush itself reminded me of Grey's Anatomy regarding the relationships btw interns/docs. 😆

Coz in the k-drama heroine went to the hospital to find about her granny's death certificate. More than medical cases/ corruption, doing things in her style, it focuses on a square love story & heroine growing up as an individual. Actually at the start Hye Jung was like a good for ntg, troublemaker & hero (the teacher in high school) puts her in the right path, he inspires her to become a doctor. Since high school days there is a respect/ strong bond btw them. People actually get it in the wrong way to which the hero has to quit his job. And all over the years they show that hero actually had a soft heart for heroine since the last time he saw her (being jailed due to rift btw best buddies & her granny fighting a final stage cancer). Hye Jung's hate for the CEO starts as he operated a VIP patient instead of her granny, he actually made a promise that he'll safe her no matter what & Hye Jung also hated her father as he abandons her & her mother. She's a lonely char whereas hero even if he's 35+ he's full of life, like a teenager, always teasing her in the hospital about dating & all. 😆

If Kabir's an orphan being adopted by Anand u can think of hero but then in Doctors Crush they lived together after him being orphan with good grades he lost his parents in a car accident. He's a capable doc like Kabir (Kabir's actions don't show him as a top surgeon. LOL) but then the attitude is more like Veer, such a cheesy char not a prankster but takes life's circumstances in a lighter manner whereas heroine is all serious like Sanchi she only has fun with her best buddy/roommate. With time & hero's love she becomes a new person, she opens up with people. 😊

Basically her BFF gang includes a crazy buddy like Pragya & rich girl, daughter of the hospital's CEO who's also a doctor, Hye Jung went back then in jail coz of a fight with her as she had a crush on hero as a teacher & accused hero to romancing/favoring Hye Jung. In the hospital the rich girl liked the top surgeon (young doc), he actually likes Hye Jung & meanwhile hero (teacher in old days) comes to work in the hospital built by his own adoptive father & there is the rich's girl guy friend who secretly likes her. Well u understood apart from corruption, the death certificate the focus is more on romance & Hye Jung (hella char & what acting, Park Shin Hye's best work till date). 😳👏
At the end each girls end up with someone be it surgeons/ interns or non doctors like heroine's closed friends & roommate, crazy girl. And Hye Jung traps the CEO's corruption (rich girl's father) along with hero, the same CEO is somehow responsible of the sudden death of hero's father.

Actually some attitudes of the korean drama's characters can remind of Doctors Crush. The antagonist rich girl (hospital's CEO's daughter) of Ria but the korean char is a lonely one just like the female, basically the dad's puppet. The 2nd male lead is also a teacher to interns/ the top surgeon, like Kabir he is strict & robotic in a way & always follows the CEO's order who wants her daughter to marry him. He falls in love with FL Hye Jung since she's kind of a rebel.

On the other hand ML comes to the hospital after ages (his father built the hospital), he is carefree, cheesy & slowly overshadows the top surgeon (2nd ML, FL works under his guidance whereas rich girl works along with the 2nd ML.
FL had a dark/sad past, her life is only about being a good doctor (bit like Sanchi) as she coulndt' save her granny. She has 1 friend ( bubbly char like Pragya). FL's life changes when she encounters again her old teacher after 10 years, he is still the same but she've changed. She gave a touching time to him b4 becoming a couple as they are diff & for her he is way 2 carefree about life. Thanks 2 her he fight back corruption in the hospital & become serious about relationships coz all the time he appears as FL's savior whereas she wants him to trust her actions, to give her some space. They break up but they get together at the end. 2nd ML ends up alone, rich girls ends up with her guy friend (shy boy), bubbly char ends up with clumsy/chubby intern.

From your description of the korean story it looks more like Veer and Sanchi's story rather than Kabir and Sanchi... Sanchi is already a responsible student whereas Veer is not. He has to grow up and should become the best doctor...I really would hate if they show any story between ria and Veer like that in the korean story. If they are step brother and sister, they have a brother-sister relationship... It will be a terrible if they show any love story between them...

If Veer doesn't have any important role in this story, other than playing pranks and one sided love story...it will be terrible too... people love Veer's character and if the cvs are blind, they will ruin their story by making Veer as 2nd male lead and make Kabir-Sanchi as the main lead.

Dont worry they wont show any type of creepy relation like that between veer and ria. Tbh neither kabir or veer have a major role to play already. They barely get any SS and no offense but veer and sanchi pairing I feel will reduce him to a showpiece. Because the overall plot is about sanchi's fight and fulfilling her mother's dream. Veer and kabir are just there for eye candy. Once she marries veer most of the SS will be dedicated to watchin her fighting with malhotra and gayatri it will almost become a typical sas bahu drama. Veer will just be there to romance her and defend her. His role wont develop much. As for kabir, idk what Cvs have in store for him if sanchi/veer happens. it seems he wont have any role I knw ria for sure wont because she doesn't care if sanchi marries her stepbro. With kabir/sanchi pairing, at least the characters have some role to play and the story wont be so damn predictable. For me personally, it doesn't matter if veer ends up becoming the 2nd ML as long as his characterisation is good.
I love veer's character but sorry to say I'm not eager to see him being paired with sanchi at all.

Of course dear, ML was the mentor just like in SDCH but in korean drama the character is no way closed 2 Kabir's. And the couple had a connection due to FL's granny in the korean drama.
Koreans had a tough time accepting the lead couple as it's teacher-student relationship at the start by it became hit due to the chemistry, concept was diff coz they don't fall in love with each other when she was a student & the actor is a legendary one in south korea. 😳
Even the 2nd leads were hella good just like the vamps. 😆

All I can say is that I only find similarities btw some attitudes of each stories' characters & corruption but this has ntg to do with SDCH. Doctors Crush was about relationship btw interns, the journey of Hye Jung growing up as a person. I guess they got inspired a bit by the characters even tho I ship SanVeer I'm cool with the other shippers. 😊
Here the story is more like Sanchi fulfilling her father's dream, family drama along Jaya's revenge.
Anyways it's better for us to not become so hype of SDCH, channel isn't even promoting it & I guess same amount of viewers watching it on Indian TV only...😕
We all know an indian daily soap without saas-bahu drama is impossible. Reason why I quit watching daily soaps & prefer finite korean dramas, even US series tend to drag adding more & more seasons.Only first 3 months of indian soaps are always good. 😆

Had it been some other actress, I may have accepted sanveer. I do agree that sanveer look adorable as bffs but please not as romantic lovers.

And like someone said, if Sanveer happens, then I see only saanchi and gayatri having screen space. Good bye to kabir, riya and Pragyas characters. These three will definitely not have any purpose in the show. Veer and Dr malhotra will have cameo roles. Whereas if they show sanchi kabir and veer Pragya pairing, I see everyone having equal role. And story will be interesting too. There will be budding romance developing between two couples, there will be jealousy and insecurity track, continues plotting by the vamp to separate the couple, plus saans bahu drama with pragya as the bahu and of course Saanchi's enmity with dr malhotra, plus her growing tension with Kabir as he will support dr malhotra. All these makes such an interesting track.

Same here if a better actor was playin sanchi then maybe I would have accepted sanchi/veer. Even I want the story to go as how u wrote. But honestly I have little hope and like @rishani77 said its better for us to not make a big hype about the show CUs it isn't being promoted well and indian shows turn rotten after 4/5 months. I will continue watchin this show for now and if the pairing is indeed sanchi/veer (which most likely is) then its alvida from my side to the show 😆 I have no interest in seeing varun playin a cameo role in fact he already is playing one it seems 😕 but after marriage to the FL it will reduce down.
