Ranjana, Sidney, the Vihaan-Aarushi moments as well as the Moms torturing the Wacko any way they can are salvaging the eps for me. Coming to the 8.7 ep, aw, Vihaan-Aarushi. ❀️ Still some detachedness on his end because he doesn't know who she is to him yet, but his instinctive decision to take care of her and her reaction to his touch was so sweet. On remembering the road to the hospital, Ranjana, I have no idea. πŸ˜† Would make sense if the Moms gave him directions along the way. But you know how it is with this writing. Still, I'm glad he was given some independence. Wacko wants him completely dependent on her for her own reasons. It was so frustrating for me to see him just sit on the bed watching her scratch her feet and whine. 😳 So letting him drive was a good way to start getting him back to who he really is, IMHO. Would love to see Vihaan-Aarushi have their quintessential banter slowly reintroduced even before his memory returns. A couple of quips from him in response to something Aarushi says. This kid needs to tease and smile again. He needs to feel more at home with Aarushi and wonder why (and that already seems to be stirring). But, with these CVs, it's hard to hope for too much.

On Vihaan questioning more about Aarushi, I agree! I guess we should be thankful the Wacko's brand of stupid is so very stupid that she leaves Vihaan-Aarushi alone in her eagerness to subordinate Aarushi and assume her stolen role as bahu (which is to ultimately hear what the Doc says and counteract it later). If they are given time to talk, it really would be a perfect time for the subject of Aarushi's husband to come up between them, since the doctor shocked him by addressing her as "Mrs Vastal". Would be interesting to see him ask her about the father of her baby and have her describe his pre-accident self to him. This is something I wanted to see as their first real conversation. We'll see what they give us in the writing.

On the "amnesia pill", thanks for the explanation of what she said, Sidney. When I watched the episode, even though I couldn't fully understand what she was saying, I realized she has been giving Vihaan something to halt his memory's progress and I wasn't surprised by it. Didn't know there was a pill for that, but this lunatic would be the one to find it. I also doubt she ever took him to any real doctor as she claimed. So the Vatsal women played their cards right. Also like that their own doctor knows something is seriously wrong and seemed to used his discretion until he spoke to Dadi Ma alone. So they're adding to their protective wall around Vihaan.

Speaking of the Vatsal's protective wall, I wanted Pushpa to punch Wacko in the face! If it weren't for needed contrived drama, she would have just left her in the toilet. Btw, that brief exchange with Manohar-Vihaan broke my heart. 😭 Their friendship needs to be back ASAP.

On the sleeping arrangements, Ranjana, I have no idea. I will say this: don't put anything past that vile woman. 🀒

In the long run, the CVs will do what they feel they need to do. Still, it would do a world of good if they get a better handle on how to write stories for the ratings viewers based on Vihaan-Aarushi's chemistry and their joint chemistry with the Moms. At the moment, even though Aarushi and the Moms are getting more involved, the story still centers on the psycho, IMHO, not on Vihaan-Aarushi. I'd like to see the pace up just a bit, and see the shift to what matters -- more of Vihaan's interactions with his Moms (something with Narmada in particular would be nice in the near future) and more of Vihaan-Aarushi's reconnect. I have no expectations on Vihaan-Aarushi having serious conversations the way they used pre-marriage unless they're written stuck in some remote place together where the Wacko and not even the mothers can get to them. πŸ˜† But if the CVs manage to reintroduce parts of their love chase that we've grown to love and maybe even add new Arhaan-isms we haven't seen before, then they'd have done a good job. Not enough to me to forgive them for this detour into story hell, but maybe enough to soften the blow. We'll see.

Sidney, I won't be surprised at all if the baby is a boy either. πŸ˜ƒ If I'm remembering correctly, the Moms already said they want to name the first child "Arhaan", so, yeah, he's already got his name. Who knows, it may also be pretty poetic if Vihaan delivers the baby himself. πŸ˜† I didn't want it this way, but it seems they've made the baby the linchpin for Vihaan's memory recovery, so we'll see what the CVs have planned.

That ArHaan scene was really lovely ❀️ 😳 a nasty part of me did remark that the real Vihaan wouldn't be so comfortable holding and exchanging heart-melting eyelocks with another man's pregnant wife πŸ˜† But like you said, they must be showing his instinctive response to her. And though I was confused by the selective amnesia and felt sad at the formal convo between Vihaan and Saarthi, I too really liked it when Vihaan sat at the wheel. It had a spark of the old Vihaan, the guy who takes charge of situations and is naturally protective and caring 😳 I really want to see him smiling wholeheartedly again πŸ˜” With the psycho, the smiles look perfunctory. Have to hand it to Ravish... he's bringing out Vihaan's subconscious discomfort with her very nicely ⭐️ And the love and tenderness in Aarushi's eyes❀️... hayyeee!! I'm surprised Vihaan didn't melt into a puddle when she was gazing at him πŸ˜†πŸ˜³

The conversations... oh why did you remind me 😭 That is the most unforgivable lapse on part of the CVs for me. Their disregard for the awesomeness of Vihaan and Aarushi's conversations 😭 The way these two used to discuss their thoughts and problems, and exchange cute/funny/crazy/sarcastic/sweet quips... that was what made their love story beautifully and refreshingly different from the rest. I used to wait for their banter in the car, at tea shops and over the phone so eagerly. But that was the first casualty post marriage. Their conversations centred almost solely on the moms and moms ka unlimited problems after the shaadi πŸ₯±

Not enough to me to forgive them for this detour into story hell, but maybe enough to soften the blow. We'll see. So true! I too have no expectations on the ArHaan front from these pathetic and cowardly CVs. But they can at least focus on Vihaan's bond with each of his moms, and especially Narmada, as you pointed out. There is so much scope for beautiful and emotional moments in the story at this point. But the entire focus is still on the wacko, who is the most boring person in the show (even including the Pandit family members) πŸ˜† She gets the most scenes and dialogues but those scenes and dialogues are so "gripping" that I feel sleepy in the middle of the episode πŸ₯±πŸ˜†πŸ₯±

Aw, Sidney and Ranjana. Both of you are too kind. 😳 Very humbled. Blame it on my enjoyment of stripping apart dialogue and characterization, even when the writing isn't as strong as it could be. It also helps that Ravish and Mugdha have been fantastic in putting more meat on the bones for us despite the writing. 😳

True, Ranjana, Ravish is doing so, so good. Vihaan's situation requires Ravish to be more nuanced and it may be hard for some viewers to read him, but he's delivering so well. Yeah, definitely seeing deliberate attention to Vihaan's instinctive responses to Aarushi and his Moms, and in the process they seem to be trying to establish that moth-to-flame draw between Vihaan-Aarushi that we were talking about. So the foundation is being laid. This has really good potential if the CVs allow the writing to hit all the right beats.

Oh, their verbal dance in their phone call ritual, their car rides, and their masala chai runs is one of the things the CVs did really well pre-marriage. For me, part of the reason those worked so well was because they weren't under any real pressure. They still had their banter post-marriage, but, yeah, not as much as before. Understandable since new things became priority. However, it might have helped to always bring them back to things familiar and theirs, especially after something significant (morning after the marriage consummation) or traumatic (car accident judgment). Do something to reground them before rushing off to a new track. But the writing didn't accommodate that. You're right, the moment they began focusing on Aarushi's attempts to have the Moms' acceptance, Vihaan-Aarushi's marriage took a backseat and Vihaan himself also got lost in the rush. For some reason, the CVs found it difficult to explore the Moms' stories and simultaneously keep Vihaan-Aarushi at the core. We've come to a place where they can start fresh to some degree and this track has the makings of a reboot. Let's see how the writing for this week is handled.
Omggg that sounds so lovely... if the first conversation is on these lines, I will forgive the CVs for a lot of the crap they've thrown at us...
I'd be thrilled too! Unfortunately, the Vihaan-Aarushi scenes in my head rarely play out. πŸ˜† If the writer(s) can manage to explore that painful irony and she's able to tell him why she loves him without his awareness that she talking about him yet he still feels familiarity with what she says, then maybe these CVs have an idea where they're going with this after all. Anything along the lines of her triggering some kind of positive reaction to who he was previously would be welcomed. But I'm expecting any convo they may have to be interrupted by you-know-who. πŸ₯±

Ranjana, if the unthinkable intimacy issue has happened, then I still want to know how she explained away his "Arhaan" tattoo. That reminder is bound to deflate her already flimsy fantasy and be a mood destroyer. Unless she really did have it removed as you speculated not too long ago.

You have no argument from me about this psycho being boring. However, I do appreciate the fairly quick effort to have Aarushi and the Moms start an attack on the insanity. The story just needs to be kept at a steady pace, and the spotlight back on Vihaan-Aarushi and Vihaan-Moms. We won't be able to avoid the Wacko's presence since she's here for who knows how long, but it would be a relief if she becomes background noise as soon as possible. I'm at a loss as to why there are two obsession stories running at the same time, but because of the Pandits' history on the show, I am OK with their track as long as it's measured and makes sense. But bringing in a haphazardly built new character and reconstructing main characters to fit her in has sabotaged any chance of her being remotely convincing. Now I wish they had done something along the lines of the personality change story I had in my head instead. πŸ€”

If Vihaan really delivers the baby, Ranjana, I'll be in shock that I figured out where these CVs are going for a change! πŸ˜† Let's see how that goes.

Hope the rest of the weekend was good for you girls. Have a good week! I'll catch up with you all later! πŸ˜ƒ

Ohh how I wish the writers could infuse even One percent of the emotional intelligence and sensitivity in your words into ArHaan's track... that would make this show could become something else entirely...
Your description of a potential scene in which Aarushi tells Vihaan about her "husband"... I would be happy to pay the CVs to write something so beautiful πŸ˜†

It bothers me that they haven't yet given us a glimpse into Vihaan's inner state. It is to Ravish's credit that we know Vihu is miserable. But we haven't gotten a single dialogue or scene that could throw some light on his current emotional state. What does he feel about the psycho? What does he feel about his memory-loss situation? What does he feel about suddenly being back home? With seven moms, no less πŸ˜† And even in Aarushi's case. I know she is a very strong woman, but her emotional plight shouldn't be ignored. To see another woman crawling all over her husband would be nightmarish for her. And Vihaan and psycho have already spent a night together in the Vatsal house, but they haven't shown Aarushi even thinking about that aspect of the situation.
All of these things are crucial for the viewers to feel more connected to the characters, but the CVs are putting the entire responsibility on Ravish and Mugdha so that they can sit back and relax and write more brain-dead scenes for the psycho πŸ˜‘πŸ˜•πŸ₯±

Oh yeah, the ArHaan tattoo! 😲 The CVs better not forget about it 😑 I really want to know what role it is going to play... because when Vihaan had shown the tattoo to Aarushi for the first time, he had said something to effect that it would be a part of his identity forever... or something like that...

As for the expected beginning to One more obsession track, I'm very very sure that this new mess is being created solely for the purpose of dragging ArHaan through a fresh level of hell πŸ˜³πŸ˜† Girish is just the conduit. Sooner or later, Vihaan and Aarushi will be shown going through untold misery because of Girish's "seductress" πŸ€’πŸ˜† πŸ₯±

Many awww moments today of ArHaan! ❀️ CVs surprisingly didn't waste an opportunity to get ArHaan to interact :D Masala tea at a roadside stall, rains, and some sweeet 'moments' - got a chotu version of ArHaan's love story today πŸ˜†πŸ˜³β€οΈ Saw Vihaan's genuine smile after ages! ❀️ Looks like Vihaan is totally going nuts over his pregnant "servant" πŸ˜† and just as good a scene - Vihaan asking Vibha to shut up when the psycho was being bitchy with Aarushi! πŸ˜‘πŸ˜† That sudden hint of steel in his voice was awesome!! 😈 All going good, and then they gave a "moment" where psycho was rubbing Vihaan's face violently with the edge of her pallu and I became like this πŸ€’πŸ˜† And the precap was also 🀒 Vibha kindly suggesting that Aarushi is in the eighth month of pregnancy and so she should go to her lakshmi nagar home and rest and Vihaan lauding the psycho for the "wonderful" suggestion 😭

Am ignoring the hospital part coz I'm not in the mood to rant about the lack of logic πŸ˜† And Girish's scene - the background score was hilarious πŸ˜† They might as well have given a voiceover yelling "Seductress alert!" instead of that music β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜† Ridiculous!!πŸ˜† and btw, wasn't Aarushi seven months pregnant two episodes back?

Oh who cares... my Vihaan smiled dil se today and my Aarushi seemed to be glowing!! And my ArHaan moments

Can't fail to mention DhaVish's performances. Mugdha is fabulous in the way she is conveying Aarushi's limitless love and longing for Vihaan with just her eyes πŸ‘ And it's not just love in her eyes. It also is a pure, deep devotion, and that is what makes it v touching in my opinion 😳 And Ravish is superbbbly showing Vihaan's casual friendship and camaraderie interposed with a confusing but strong pull towards her πŸ‘
