How does it feel now?

Ok Guys...

I have been thinking for a while now... Its all changed and the new show is on air and there is no more SGP!!

However, this is the 3rd day without any written update and everyday I come to this forum in hope that somebody would have written an update even the bad one...I mean even if the episode would be bad!

So some of us are talking about Season 2 like other comedy shows! But I know that some veteran SGPians probably do not want this and I could figure that out from the expectations. I mean from other threads, we showed how SGP should have ended or other story modifications but I DO still think that provided limited time and limited MINDS, writers probably failed there. Given more time, I am sure story would have been a little different but again not with everyone's expectations!

So here I am asking you all only 2 questions.

Do we want to see season 2?

If the answer to above is NO, then my 2nd question is, with the SAME cast, do we want to create another show with may be another story??

let me know your thoughts!!! I was going to post this over the weekend then I thought all the members will go away from forum as time goes so I need to post this ASAP and I am posting this today!!

I don't now how this season 2 rumor started but I really don't want to see a season 2 mainly because they will never be able to recreate the magic they did with the original and again SGP itself was a remake so a sequel of a remake would be too complicated.

i defo want to see a suhana ishaan relationship with ragini khanna and jay soni...in my mind, no one else can do justice to the roles...

and also, ishaan character..to me, is the most perfect, cute, and adorable husband ever

Just like Tani, I too don't want SGP season 2 ...

When SGP came there is no expectations from the show or from PH and it's remake of successful show... Till that time SP didn't have slot leader at 7.30 pm slot... SGP became slot leader due to unique story, actors and characters..

If SGP comes with season 2, which is quite impossible, as SP has already have favourite PH's with new story lines line up..

It would be challenge for PH , actors, CVS wrtiers for season 2, as story would be different and to create same magic as SGP part 1 as they can't continue SGP story from where they stopped..

I think SGP is the show, where people love more other characters than lead stars... Even though Sushaan are popular , but BM, RB,Alok, Dadaji, Rajini, disha and all got recognition love from audience... SO PH have to repeat BEST ENSEMBLE CAST again..

Overall with SP i don't think that is possible...Just like people wanted atleast 2 or 3 months extention for SGP so that they can wind up and show good ending, but instead they got 15 days to wind up and finish the serial...

Now SP has bunch of TRP shows and PH's who are ready with new shows, they didn't given importance to PH nor cast when SGP was airing why would they think of season 2... It only possible with their fav. shows... SGP is not their fav. still being slot leader at 7.30 pm..

My question is wat use of bringin NEW shows if viewrs r STILL connected 2 der currently on air shows??
As I kno SGP has huge FAN followings & dey r demandin its SEASON 2 vry SOON.
By neglectin viewrs choice how long SP can placed on 1st RANK. As I kno only bcoz of AXING SGP d channel looses SO many of der viewers. Right now v hav BIG example of NDTV IMAGINE! D channel has SHUT down due 2 lowest TRP. May dis situation will not come towars SP ways but its POSSIBLE dat it can LOOSE its NO.1 place SHORTLY...
Its not NECESSRY dat wat ever dey decides or thinks it wil b RIGHT 4 DEM...!!!

I would partially agree with what you are saying Abhi... it may not be possible to continue same story line... and having pipelined projects, SP would not allow season 2.

But deep somewhere inside me... I wish to see all these cast again which I know is not going to happen!!

I am genuinely bored after 2 years !!! I use to watch only SGP ..yeah may be 5 minutes before SGP and 5 minutes after SGP too ...but then use to spend a lot of time discussing, and anticipating the coming episodes, it feels s empty these days, I have completely stopped watching Star Plus ...and from 7.30 pm I am wondering in the house ...and in three days I have cleaned my drawers, my wardrobe, my storage area, and in long English summer days its getting really difficult to kill the time, dont take me wrong I am a very busy person but for lat two years I use to finish all my chores before 7.30 so that I could enjoy SGP and then discussing it. Now I have all this time doing nothing .
But having said that , I would not want SGP 2 to air on Star Plus as they would ruin it just the way they ruined SGP after the initial story line of Suhana to confess her love ... I would love to see the same cast together with a good story in any other channel but please not Star Plus ...it only caters for masses who watches the serials to see the Saris and jewellry of the leads and how colourful Kurta the male leads wear plus all the rituals which people dont do in there daily lives , also the Kalakaaris and hathyachaars... Nop Thanks but No Thanks.

Nowadays, I dont have anything new happening so my OFFICE life is kinda bored for that particular hours!! LOL... dont take me wrong.. The Timing of the Show was Perfect 7:30 PM... so, after watching the show... everyone can come n have the Fun discssions... 😃

I am also of similar opinion about Season 2. I would not want season 2 but I would love the cast to be together may be in some other assignment. I am going to look for them going forward all over the news!! 🤓
