Some special moments that really stood out for me first of all was Somini's chemistry. Today I really felt the tension and attraction between them from both sides and it was intense. Even when they do nothing and stare at each other from across the room. You feel the butterflies in your stomach. This jodi definitely have a lot of potential and I think Mohit and Shiny both did a very good job and were pretty convincing in their parts. All their scenes were really good from the ladder falling one, the diya scene, her pallu catching fire, mat ja re in the car❤️, the beautiful little dream sequence all of them were so subtle yet romantic. But if I had to pick one I'd say the diya one where both of them put oil together in it. It was so so beautiful and meaning ful there werent any long eyelocks or asthma attacks yet you feel the chemistry even when they're simply holding hands. That scene stole it for me yesterday the definition of subtle romance. Also Somini's meaningful conversations were another highlight to it, it just shows the level of trust Somendra has on Sarojini whether it was asking her for an accomodation for dadaji or informing her first about his mother's condition. He always looks for her first when he is in trouble and that's an indication of a strong relationship and immense trust in the other person. He not only loves her, he cherishes her and truly values her (and I'm really jealous now😆).
Next was definitely the Somendra Dushyant face off it was all that I expected and much more. Ek dum seeti Maar full of tashan kinda scene. The angst, the frustration, the rebellion were portrayed brilliantly by Mohit and Pankaj sir was as always a class apart. It was really intense and the way Somu stood up to his father made my resolve even more stronger about the fact that he is the only person in the show who is brave enough to handle Dushyant. The way he stopped him from slapping him again the second time and told him straight looking into his eyes that this is not Pratapgadh and you can't control my life like you do with everyone else. I was like Yayyy!!! Go Somu go tell him the bitter truth. He owned Dushyant truly and all he could do was give the same old threats all over again but Somu was least bothered by it. And he proved that he really is Dushyant's son when it comes to being angry and stubborn even ahead of him 😆 and maybe that's why Dusht loves him the most coz he see alot of himself in him.
Another special moment was the Somu Dadaji bond they were so so so sooo adorable and real. I'm loving dadaji he is so cute and caring came all the way to Delhi to help Somu and warn him about Dushyant. And Somu loves and cares for him just as much. But what I love the most were their hugs they were so real and heartwarming. Everytime Somu hugs dadaji there was this huge smile on his face like when a kid gets his favorite candy 100% real. And I think maybe Mohit does share a very good bond with him offscreen and has that elderly love and respect for him in real life as well and that's why it looked so genuine onscreen. I'm simply in love with these two want more and more.
Coming to the dance performances Kryan were really cute, they had the typical wedding kinda performance and they definitely contributed towards making this wedding grand by adding a lot of star value to it. And of course the Somini bit in the end was heavenly. I just wished that we had more Mohit lip syncs very well. And Aishwariya and Mouni their performance was not a typical one it was kinda a part of all the drama going on in between so sadly it shifted the focus from these two towards the story more especially the aaj ki raat sequence was all about Somu getting back to the venue. Notheless I couldn't take my eyes off Mouni she was really good totally natural I don't blame Mayank for it either😆
P.S sorry for the huge review I always get carried away😆 but I've divided it in paragraphs for your convenience so that you can skip to what u want to read😆 and can skip the rest.
