My dear friends, I know what you must be feeling as our favorite serial comes to an end. We feel like wet hens, drenched in a heavy downpour of cold rain. It is a sad day for us, but let us hope that we will carry the fond memories of Naina and Daksh with their family and friends with us for the rest of our lives.
Even in the midst of gloom of losing their house, the family bonds together once again, after the mother reconciles with all in the family. Rohini is still apart, and cold hearted, and one has not realized that she too can melt. In an emotional act, the mother tells Rohini that she has got what she has always been wanting. She takes the signed papers of the house, and offers them to her, but on her being on the defensive, she lays the papers on the partition line and tells her to lift them.
Then Rohini hears the cry of her son, and she looks around and finds that Mulchandani with his assistant has entered the house, and she takes the child from their hands and starts accusing them for not looking after her son, and that he has fever. Mulchandani sarcastically tells her that it is just a fever, but she should now think of handing over the papers. A moment of uncertainty is created by Rohini, but ultimately she turns against Mulchandani and behaves the way she used to with the people in the house. She tries to tell him the difference between a house and a home. Better late than never, the new novice in the Home Management, decides to keep the house papers, and refuses to hand them over to Mulchandani. Mulchandani threatens her and the family, but she does not care.
Mulchandani and his assistant leave the house, and the reunion starts with outpouring of love and forgiveness, and the music in the background starts evoking the memories of the bygone days, and love once again reigns in this house, which for such a long time, was strained by the imaginary walls erected by incredulous minds.
Once again laughter rings in the house, and Naina is accepted by the mother as well a s Rohini, with a tinge of guilt. Naina is gracious in her forgiveness and offers an understanding which could come from someone, who has longed for affection all her life. The ladies of the house get down on their knees, with swabs of wet cloth and rub of the line of partition, with joy and glee on their faces, happy that once again their house is one.
Two two, Daksh and Naina finally find a moment for themselves, and re-live the time they lost to build bridges in the family. In the glow of the warmth of a burning fire, the one in their hearts glows too, bringing them to the moment which had evaded them for such a long time. Naina's objections whittle away, now that she has received the blessings of her mother in law. Possibly, it could be the beginning of a new life in the family, a new Patwardhan may enter within the next nine months. We all would have been overjoyed to see the face of a chubby child and the "Nam Karan" ceremony, but this has to be left to our individual imagination.
Bye friends, let us wish the best to all the crew and cast who gave us the finest time we could have expected over the past thirteen and a half months. Let us hope, that Shakuntalam Telefilms will be brave enough to attempt evocative themes like Sapno Se Bhare Naina in the future, to meet the longing of the young people of our rising country.
