The scene opens with the family sitting at the table on Naina's side, and Daksh arrives, and wants to know where Kaka is gone. Naina tells him that he has gone to see Vedant, at his friends' place. On the other table, Sanket is at his table and has started to eat, and Rohini asks her mother to bring Atharva down, so that she can give him his milk. The mother willingly goes up with a smile, and after a while, rushes down in screams, saying that Atharva is missing. Rohini raises hell, and Sanket continues to eat. His mother declares her innocence, and says, that she kept the sleeping child in the cradle in the room of Sanket and Rohini. His wife forces Sanket to get up and search for his son, and the whole family rushes all over the house in search of the tiny tot. Naina and her family too go after them, to see if they have found the child.
When the child is not found, Rohini hurls insults at Naina that it is her doing that the child is missing, and Naina asks her how could it be when they do not cross their line. Rohini and Sanket again go up and search the house, and Rohini tells Sanket to go one way, and she will go the other.
Rohini runs to the place where she has hidden the child, and gloats at her own game, and when she reaches the bed on which she had laid him, she puts the light on, and sees that the child is not there, and all hell breaks, as Rohini is in a quandary, that some one has played a trick on her. Now she really panics and wants to find out, and all the three, Sanket, Rohini and Ayee search for the son, and one blames the other.
Downstairs, Rohini is hysterical and begs the people on Naina's side, and asks them if they had seen Atharva. She asks if they saw anyone coming in. Kaki tells her that they never cross their line, and they were always at home, and no one went out or came in.
When Rohini blames her mother, for carelessness, and Sanket too questions her, in comes Kaka sayaing to someone in his arms, "You had a good outing did you?" and he has Atharva in his hands and is happily coming in, and seeing that the child is in his hands, Rohini starts yelling at him, as to who gave him permission to take the child.
Rohini does not expect what comes next. Kaka starts taunting her, and telling her that she thought she was the wisest of the crowd. Not any more says he. They have broken her eggs and the shells have shattered into splinters, and the egg is all over her ugly face. He tells her that the baby was placed by herself in his old room to implicate her mother in law, but she forgot to switch the light off. Daksh and he found the baby, and hatched their plan to trounce her. They wanted to expose her evil ways, and bring before her gullible mother, how she was being taken for a ride. Thus in the morning, he took the baby for a walk, well knowing, what effect it would have on his mother.
Sanket opens his eyes, but Vibha as ever is blind-folded with her own stupidity. Daksh starts telling them, like a lawyer in a court, all the tricks of Rohini, and his brother opens his eyes much more, and figures out his wife's crooked plans. Then Naina takes out the syrup label, and shows Rohini, and they all point out, that it was Rohini who switched the labels on the medicine bottles, and that it was not Ayee's fault, if she took the medicine from the bottle which had the label of the syrup. Later she had changed the labels back, and at that time, the syrup label fell off, and it was found in the compound, and they put two and two together and came upon her plan. Sanket realizes that he had found the label in Rohini's room, and she had snatched it from his hands and thrown it out of the window, and gave some lame excuse. Now he is certain, that is wife is not wothy of resepect or trust.
Sanket accuses Rohini for her dishonesty, and tells her that all her show that Naina was after the property is all non sense. It is she who is after the property, and when Ayee did not succeed in giving it to her, she made her as the object of her tricks, and put her into trouble, with the aim of sending her away from the house.
He tells her that he does not find fault with anyone, not even Naina. He says, the biggest offender was himself, that he did not see the true nature of his wife. He accuses her, that after breaking Naina and Daksh from their family, she did not spare Kaka, Kaki and their children, and wanted to throw them out of the house, but they were saved, because Naina was generous to take them in. He tells her, she was not satisfied, and then she got rid of his father, and she did not stop at that. She wanted the whole house, and now his mother was in the way, so she wanted to send her to the Home for the Aged. Sanket tells her, that he will give her more space in his house, and so saying crosses over to the side of Naina against the pleadings of a cantankerous Rohini. Kaka jokes at their fate. He tells Rohini that in the sports parlance, there has been a hat-trick, and now he asks his sister in law also to defect to their side. She is in a daze, but her stubborn nature does not allow her to yield as she still believes in her own integrity and her sanctimonious position, and her husband knowing her well walks away, throwing a sad pitiable look at his wife, that she will not change, until some how she will start staring at the truth in its face.
Ayee tells Rohini to put Atharva to sleep, and she walks to do her daily chores. Naina tells Daksh to follow Sanket and make him feel at home, as he needs his help now most.

"Catharsis has been recognized as a healing, cleansing, and transforming experience throughout history, and has been used in cultural healing practices, literature, drama, religion, medicine, and psychology. Some contemporary modalities such as Psychodrama, Primal therapy, Emotion - Focused therapy, to mention a few, use catharsis as their core technique to achieve positive therapeutic change. Modern research on the subject is limited and presents contradicting data about the effectiveness of cathartic techniques in psychotherapy practice." says Dr. Esta Powell, M.A., M.S.
Our favorite Serial has given us an example of the above, as Rohini belches out all the poison stored within her psyche. The mother, is still in need of therapy, but no doctor has been found so far.
As we see, the symptoms of catharsis explode in the living room, as Rohini yells and calls frantically, for Sanket. Naina comes over to her and tries to calm her saying that he is with the family and they are discussisng something very important. Rohini is in no position to reason out her emotions, and orders Naina to go and call him.
In the meantime, Sanket is being ushered into the sane world of the Patwardhan family, with soothing talk, and emotional bonding. This relaxes Sanket, and he asks the Daksh to forgive him, and Daksh is very cordial and loving to him. Kaka too adds spice and color to their talk, and as they hear the shrieks of Rohini, Sanket gets a call, and he starts speaking to his boss, Mr. Sanghvi.
By now, Vibha with her swollen face and heavy eyes, has come to condole Rohini, and the rest of the crowd from Naina's side is slowly arriving one by one, to see the melodrama of the psycho queen. Kaka is quick to come out with his pun, and taunts, which irritate Rohini, and then she sees Sanket walking down and pleads with him, with 'tears' in her eyes, and all think she is sincere and contrite. But Sanket gives her a tough time, before crossing over, and Rohini is triumphant, and starts gloating to Naina and Kaka, saying that she knows Sanket better than them. She belches all her fumes and venom through her loud mouth, with verbiage which is hard on the ears, but they give her chance to vent her pent up anger and feelings. The pitiable mother, is hanging behind her, unable to utter a single word, and no one takes notice of her presence. Sanket indeed crosses over the line, but not to unite with Rohini or his mother, and they are surprised as he walks up the steps to his room upstairs. Rohini is so sure that she has her husband in her grip, taunts Naina and Kaka, and her mother in law, feels that she is giving a fitting answer to her enemies. Little does that foolish woman know the frailties of the human nature, and if she had known, she would have found the rascal hidden in Rohini's brain long ago. The whole family including Sanket recognized it, but not their mother, since she has some more learning to do, till this serial will come to its fitting end.
When those on Nanina's side felt that Sanket had really defected back to his own, they are surprised to see him come back, with his suitcase and file, and Rohini swings back into the bellicose mood and starts her wailing and pleading and crying, and raises hell in the living room. Sanket it cool, and tells them, that his transfer has come, and he had been in touch with his boss, and he is living the city for good. Rohini pleads, and he tells her that now she has all she ever wanted. He gives her the keys of the house, and the investment documents, and tells her that from now on, it is her responsibility to pay the dues and keep these going on. He makes it clear to her, that he is not only going from the house, but he is also going from her life. Rohini is shocked. He tells her that there is nothing to be shocked about, as she always lived only for herself and her whims, and he was only a means to get what she wanted. Now that he is out of her life, she can do what she wants with it. Rohini asks him, how he could leave her alone. Then his mother opens her frail mouth and speaks to him reminding of his little son. He catches her words and hurls them at Rohini saying "See the difference in the way you see things, and see what my mother says. She thinks of little Atharva, and you, the egotist that you are, have only yourself on your mind. You do not deserve anyone, but yourself." So saying, he bends down at the feet of his mother and takes her blessing. He crosses over and takes the blessings of his uncle and father, and then of his aunt. He looks kindly at Naina and she nods at him, in acceptance, and then he goes to his brother and hugs him, as his mother watches her fictitious world crumbling in front of her eyes. He lovingly caresses the cheek of Akruti as an elder brother, and she looks at him with love and emotion. Sanket walks away from the house.
Rohini gives her parting bitter shots to Naina and the rest of the family, but they ignore her vanquished and crestfallen, but still trying to breathe some life and self confidence in what she says. Slowly she is alone on the floor, and wondering what has hit her and she too goes to her room with her son.
In the precap, we see her rudely treating the mother and telling her to mind her own business and not to interfere with her. She tells her that the result of her upbringing is visible to her, and the proof is that her son has left her. What would be the last straw that will break this camel's back?

Lakeer Paar
This story is turning mind boggling, and inconclusive, and hope it will not send us into a mental asylum, watching the antics of this Ayee.
She is so head-strong, that no amount of proof can shake her from her blind belief, that she is right and every one else is wrong, except her beloved Rohini who is always right.
So Rohini goes full throttle, squeezing the life out of this gullible woman, not allowing her to come near a crying grand child, then finding fault with her for not bringing the milk in at the right time, and when told that it was Naina who kept the packet in the fridge, she says, that she should not use it, as it might have been tampered with by Naina, and the mother believes her and when asked to go and bring a new packet, she goes like a zombie to the vendor, buys the packet, does not take the change, and is about to go into a black out.
In the house Rohini is on the phone with her friends and waiting for her mother in law, who has not come back even after one hour, and she is irritated that her plans have to be put on hold. The rest of the family, in Naina's side is also is in panic, and Daksh and Naina go out to search for her, and their father too can not hold himself back any longer and finds his wife near the temple where she is asking Bappa why all the bad things happen to her. I think, even he is not in a position to penetrate her thick skull. Her husband places his hand on her shoulder and gives her a lesson in fidelity, but it goes over her head, and she finds fault with him, for going away from her, as she has not heard a single word he spoke to her.
When they come home, she has to listen to Rohini yelling at her, and she like an obedient servant, listens to her. Kaka, Kaki and the rest too come to the Lakeer, and see the drama when Rohini asks her mother if this is her way of getting sympathy. She raises her voice and scolds her mother, and Naina comes forward to stop her. Rohini like a mad bull makes a charge towards her, but does not "par" the "lakeer" as it is below their dignity. She hurls insults at Naina, and then Daksh comes forward and challenges her, and then the MOTHER gets her voice, and says, to stop. The mother comes to the "lakeer" and she too does not dare to "par" the "lakeer" as it was her own command that put it there to separate the "strangers" from her people who were devoted to her. Now these devoted people have been reduced to three, one can not speak, but only cry. The other can not speak, but only yell. And she her ears, are the only recipient of all their furor. Yet she defends her vanguard, and says, ROHINI IS RIGHT.
In the precap, the inevitable happens. Ayee goes to bring the milk, and faints. The bystanders find some paper, and try to phone, but no one picks the phone. Rohini must be fast asleep with her son. The "strangers" have been kept apart, and even if they want to help, this mad person will not accept their help. Perhaps will the bystanders decide to take her to a hospital at least. Will she find a good psychiatrist in the hospital, who will save her from her delusion, so that this serial can have a fitting conclusion, and deliver us from such nonsensical episodes. Wonder.

Vibha's intransigence continues, and she disparages Naina's concern, and Daksh tries to teach Rohini a lesson, but his mother advises him not to do it, as she is not going to change her mind. His father stops his son, from debasing himself, as he knows his wife better than he, and tells him, nothing can make his wife change her mind. She goes by the "Truth" as she sees it, and nothing can veer her from the path of following the Light of Truth. It is only when she will see the light, that should be sent from heaven, that she will see who is for her, and who is against her. Till that time, she has to bear her own sufferings brought upon herself from her own choice, and so saying he leaves with his family to their rooms.
Vibha and Rohini go back to their rooms, and Rohini pretends to ask her forgiveness, so that the mother can continue to slog for her. Rohini continues squeezing her mother in law in an insidious game of craftiness, saying to herself "I will have to keep her on tenterhooks, she has no one else but me. In these days of high costs, which other way is there to get a cheap servant than have her work for me." Anyone who watches this Rohini would like to spit out this venom from their system, but not Ayee, who has imbibed this poison for so long, and her hatred of Naina is her only potion which sustains her ability to endure Rohini's insults.
When Daksh asks his father why he stopped him, the father tries to explain. Naina knows that once her husband gets angry, he too takes time to calm down, and she allows him to go to work. Naina and her father in law, strike on an idea, and plan to do something great which could tilt the balance in the family.
In the kitchen, the two girls, Naina and Akruti are about their work, and Naina has a question on a recipe, and her Kaki tells her that she can follow the instructions from the book. Naina asks her something about what they are planning to do, and Kaka comes into the kitchen, with his demand for a cup of tea. Vibha too is in the kitchen, but does not know what the others are planning, and when Kaka tries to dig out their plan, they shoo him, with fingers on their lips, and he asks why. They point out to Vibha, and he blurts out, what is there to hide from her. Vibha's curiosity grows without finding an answer.
As the night sets in, Naina calls Daksh and asks him if he has made the arrangements with the courier. Vibha is in her room, while all the lights go off. She comes down, and hears the opposite party celebrating a birthday, with the birthday song, and she asks whose birthday are they celebrating. The lights come up, and Vidyadhar asks his wife if she has grown so old as to forget her birthday. They all wish her a happy birthday, and as she is not willing to come to their side, the husband cuts the cake, and Naina puts a piece in his mouth on behalf of his wife.
Then the lights go off again, and Naina starts the slide projector, and she projects all their past birthday slides, and family pictures, and she hopes Ayee's heart will melt. They are very happy seeing their old happy family celebrating past festivals together. The show ends, and the lights come on, and the wife is touched and says, thanks to her husband. He however tells her that the real person she should thank is Naina. He calls Naina to his side, and tells her to take the blessing of his wife. Naina moves to the line where Vibha is standing, and tries to touch her feet, but she steps back, to deny the blessing to her. The father consoles Naina while his wife thinks how this crafty girl has swayed the mind of her gullible husband. The father tells Naina who is dejected, that one day she will see her mother bless her, when God will open her eyes.
When the husband and wife are alone, she comes to take the blessing of her husband, but he steps back, and it shocks her. He asks her, "Do you know how it feels ? Naina too felt the same when you did it to her." - But it is like water on duck's back.
The precap where Vibha fainted in the market, was not shown today. Perhaps, it will be included in the episode that will be shown tomorrow, being the week end.

Daksh and his family, are at the dining table, and the father sees his wife on the other side, waiting to says something to him. She comes forward and asks his blessing, and when she bends down to touch his feet he steps back, and then he calls Naina to his side and places his hand on her head and tells his wife, that Naina too felt the same way, as she feels now. When he tries to tell his wife how she has misunderstood Naina, who has selflessly thought of her for the fast few years, Vibha tells her husband in a hurt tone, that she has not misunderstood her, but she has known her true face for quite some time, and her husband might have been twisted round her firngers, but she will not, and never forgive her for stealing his son from her, and breaking up her whole family. The door bell rings, and Rohini points this out to her mother, who gets up and goes to open the door. A courier asks for Vibha Patwardhan and gives her a parcel, and on opening she sees a beautiful embroidered saree. She is reminded how she taught Naina how to embroider the saree long ago, and brushes the thought aside. Rohini comes and starts stinging her saying that she was busy buying new sarees. She was not satisfied with her old sarees, and she is spending her money, and becoming a burden on her. Yet Vibha tries to convince her cracked daughter in law, who has soaked her in poison.
Rohini brings a telephone bill and tells her mother to go an pay it. Vibha says, that Sanket too said, that the land line was not working. Rohini picks a new quarrel with her mother and accuses her for not letting her know that Sanket called. Rohini forces her mother to go, and she reminds her of going to the mandir, but she laughs at her beliefs, and says that God has no time for her, and he will be more pleased if she served her daughter in law more diligently. The mother has to swallow her pride, and keep up her defiance to prove that she still is on the right side of truth. She takes the bill and goes.
On the way, she can not get a rickshaw. Naina is here ready to help her, but she turns her offer down, telling her that she need not show her hollow sympathy. She gets her rickshaw and reaches the telephone office, where the line is very long. She meets a neighbour who recognizes her, and then the sun is getting hot, and Naina sends her missed calls, and Vibha ignores her calls. Then Rohini tries to call her and she answers her only to hear her accusations, that she is passing time. Rohini has not patience, and asks her to come back soon, as she has to take care of her grand son.
Vibha reaches a breaking point and faints. The bystanders, quickly pick her phone and find the missed call of Naina and call her. Naina arrives and informs her family, who rush to the hospital where Naina has already admitted her unconscious, and the medical team, cares for her, and the doctor tells the family, that she has been under great stress, and her blood sugar has gone low, and they need to take great care of her and she should have absolute bed rest.
Naina feels that she should leave before Ayee regains consciousness. The family tells her to wait, but finally yield to Naina's reasoning, which was that if Ayee saw her, again it may cause an attack, and she needs to be calm. So Naina goes home. When Vibha revives, she wants to know who brought her to the hospital. Akruti wants to tell, but the father interrupts her and says, "This is not the time to ask questions or hear answers. We should be grateful, that you are fine. It was true, that in the nick of time, there was some one there, to hold out the hand to catch yours, and bring you here."
At home Rohini is walking up and down the line of no control, grumbling at her mother in law and her forgetful ways. Kaka snubs her and gives her the story of Jhansi ki Rani, who took her child and went to war, and in modern days, the mothers hold on to their kids, and send old mothers in law to do their jobs outside in the heat. He says, this is Kaliyug, the worst kind. Naina arrives, and Kaka asks how his sister in law is. She tells him, that she got a message from Daksh that she has revived, and soon they will be coming home.
In the hospital, Vibha looks at the family, and says to herself, that when in need, it was her family that was by her side. She goes home with them.
In the precap: Rohini starts accusing her mother and she stares at her face.

Rohini is so sure that she has her husband in her grip, taunts Naina and Kaka, and her mother in law, feels that she is giving a fitting answer to her enemies. Little does that foolish woman know the frailties of the human nature, and if she had known, she would have found the rascal hidden in Rohini's brain long ago. The whole family including Sanket recognized it, but not their mother, since she has some more learning to do, till this serial will come to its fitting end.
When those on Nanina's side felt that Sanket had really defected back to his own, they are surprised to see him come back, with his suitcase and file, and Rohini swings back into the bellicose mood and starts her wailing and pleading and crying, and raises hell in the living room. Sanket it cool, and tells them, that his transfer has come, and he had been in touch with his boss, and he is living the city for good. Rohini pleads, and he tells her that now she has all she ever wanted. He gives her the keys of the house, and the investment documents, and tells her that from now on, it is her responsibility to pay the dues and keep these going on. He makes it clear to her, that he is not only going from the house, but he is also going from her life. Rohini is shocked. He tells her that there is nothing to be shocked about, as she always lived only for herself and her whims, and he was only a means to get what she wanted. Now that he is out of her life, she can do what she wants with it. Rohini asks him, how he could leave her alone. Then his mother opens her frail mouth and speaks to him reminding of his little son. He catches her words and hurls them at Rohini saying "See the difference in the way you see things, and see what my mother says. She thinks of little Atharva, and you, the egotist that you are, have only yourself on your mind. You do not deserve anyone, but yourself." So saying, he bends down at the feet of his mother and takes her blessing. He crosses over and takes the blessings of his uncle and father, and then of his aunt. He looks kindly at Naina and she nods at him, in acceptance, and then he goes to his brother and hugs him, as his mother watches her fictitious world crumbling in front of her eyes. He lovingly caresses the cheek of Akruti as an elder brother, and she looks at him with love and emotion. Sanket walks away from the house.
Rohini gives her parting bitter shots to Naina and the rest of the family, but they ignore her vanquished and crestfallen, but still trying to breathe some life and self confidence in what she says. Slowly she is alone on the floor, and wondering what has hit her and she too goes to her room with her son.
In the precap, we see her rudely treating the mother and telling her to mind her own business and not to interfere with her. She tells her that the result of her upbringing is visible to her, and the proof is that her son has left her. What would be the last straw that will break this camel's back?

Lakeer Paar
This story is turning mind boggling, and inconclusive, and hope it will not send us into a mental asylum, watching the antics of this Ayee.
She is so head-strong, that no amount of proof can shake her from her blind belief, that she is right and every one else is wrong, except her beloved Rohini who is always right.
So Rohini goes full throttle, squeezing the life out of this gullible woman, not allowing her to come near a crying grand child, then finding fault with her for not bringing the milk in at the right time, and when told that it was Naina who kept the packet in the fridge, she says, that she should not use it, as it might have been tampered with by Naina, and the mother believes her and when asked to go and bring a new packet, she goes like a zombie to the vendor, buys the packet, does not take the change, and is about to go into a black out.
In the house Rohini is on the phone with her friends and waiting for her mother in law, who has not come back even after one hour, and she is irritated that her plans have to be put on hold. The rest of the family, in Naina's side is also is in panic, and Daksh and Naina go out to search for her, and their father too can not hold himself back any longer and finds his wife near the temple where she is asking Bappa why all the bad things happen to her. I think, even he is not in a position to penetrate her thick skull. Her husband places his hand on her shoulder and gives her a lesson in fidelity, but it goes over her head, and she finds fault with him, for going away from her, as she has not heard a single word he spoke to her.
When they come home, she has to listen to Rohini yelling at her, and she like an obedient servant, listens to her. Kaka, Kaki and the rest too come to the Lakeer, and see the drama when Rohini asks her mother if this is her way of getting sympathy. She raises her voice and scolds her mother, and Naina comes forward to stop her. Rohini like a mad bull makes a charge towards her, but does not "par" the "lakeer" as it is below their dignity. She hurls insults at Naina, and then Daksh comes forward and challenges her, and then the MOTHER gets her voice, and says, to stop. The mother comes to the "lakeer" and she too does not dare to "par" the "lakeer" as it was her own command that put it there to separate the "strangers" from her people who were devoted to her. Now these devoted people have been reduced to three, one can not speak, but only cry. The other can not speak, but only yell. And she her ears, are the only recipient of all their furor. Yet she defends her vanguard, and says, ROHINI IS RIGHT.
In the precap, the inevitable happens. Ayee goes to bring the milk, and faints. The bystanders find some paper, and try to phone, but no one picks the phone. Rohini must be fast asleep with her son. The "strangers" have been kept apart, and even if they want to help, this mad person will not accept their help. Perhaps will the bystanders decide to take her to a hospital at least. Will she find a good psychiatrist in the hospital, who will save her from her delusion, so that this serial can have a fitting conclusion, and deliver us from such nonsensical episodes. Wonder.

Vibha's intransigence continues, and she disparages Naina's concern, and Daksh tries to teach Rohini a lesson, but his mother advises him not to do it, as she is not going to change her mind. His father stops his son, from debasing himself, as he knows his wife better than he, and tells him, nothing can make his wife change her mind. She goes by the "Truth" as she sees it, and nothing can veer her from the path of following the Light of Truth. It is only when she will see the light, that should be sent from heaven, that she will see who is for her, and who is against her. Till that time, she has to bear her own sufferings brought upon herself from her own choice, and so saying he leaves with his family to their rooms.
Vibha and Rohini go back to their rooms, and Rohini pretends to ask her forgiveness, so that the mother can continue to slog for her. Rohini continues squeezing her mother in law in an insidious game of craftiness, saying to herself "I will have to keep her on tenterhooks, she has no one else but me. In these days of high costs, which other way is there to get a cheap servant than have her work for me." Anyone who watches this Rohini would like to spit out this venom from their system, but not Ayee, who has imbibed this poison for so long, and her hatred of Naina is her only potion which sustains her ability to endure Rohini's insults.
When Daksh asks his father why he stopped him, the father tries to explain. Naina knows that once her husband gets angry, he too takes time to calm down, and she allows him to go to work. Naina and her father in law, strike on an idea, and plan to do something great which could tilt the balance in the family.
In the kitchen, the two girls, Naina and Akruti are about their work, and Naina has a question on a recipe, and her Kaki tells her that she can follow the instructions from the book. Naina asks her something about what they are planning to do, and Kaka comes into the kitchen, with his demand for a cup of tea. Vibha too is in the kitchen, but does not know what the others are planning, and when Kaka tries to dig out their plan, they shoo him, with fingers on their lips, and he asks why. They point out to Vibha, and he blurts out, what is there to hide from her. Vibha's curiosity grows without finding an answer.
As the night sets in, Naina calls Daksh and asks him if he has made the arrangements with the courier. Vibha is in her room, while all the lights go off. She comes down, and hears the opposite party celebrating a birthday, with the birthday song, and she asks whose birthday are they celebrating. The lights come up, and Vidyadhar asks his wife if she has grown so old as to forget her birthday. They all wish her a happy birthday, and as she is not willing to come to their side, the husband cuts the cake, and Naina puts a piece in his mouth on behalf of his wife.
Then the lights go off again, and Naina starts the slide projector, and she projects all their past birthday slides, and family pictures, and she hopes Ayee's heart will melt. They are very happy seeing their old happy family celebrating past festivals together. The show ends, and the lights come on, and the wife is touched and says, thanks to her husband. He however tells her that the real person she should thank is Naina. He calls Naina to his side, and tells her to take the blessing of his wife. Naina moves to the line where Vibha is standing, and tries to touch her feet, but she steps back, to deny the blessing to her. The father consoles Naina while his wife thinks how this crafty girl has swayed the mind of her gullible husband. The father tells Naina who is dejected, that one day she will see her mother bless her, when God will open her eyes.
When the husband and wife are alone, she comes to take the blessing of her husband, but he steps back, and it shocks her. He asks her, "Do you know how it feels ? Naina too felt the same when you did it to her." - But it is like water on duck's back.
The precap where Vibha fainted in the market, was not shown today. Perhaps, it will be included in the episode that will be shown tomorrow, being the week end.

Daksh and his family, are at the dining table, and the father sees his wife on the other side, waiting to says something to him. She comes forward and asks his blessing, and when she bends down to touch his feet he steps back, and then he calls Naina to his side and places his hand on her head and tells his wife, that Naina too felt the same way, as she feels now. When he tries to tell his wife how she has misunderstood Naina, who has selflessly thought of her for the fast few years, Vibha tells her husband in a hurt tone, that she has not misunderstood her, but she has known her true face for quite some time, and her husband might have been twisted round her firngers, but she will not, and never forgive her for stealing his son from her, and breaking up her whole family. The door bell rings, and Rohini points this out to her mother, who gets up and goes to open the door. A courier asks for Vibha Patwardhan and gives her a parcel, and on opening she sees a beautiful embroidered saree. She is reminded how she taught Naina how to embroider the saree long ago, and brushes the thought aside. Rohini comes and starts stinging her saying that she was busy buying new sarees. She was not satisfied with her old sarees, and she is spending her money, and becoming a burden on her. Yet Vibha tries to convince her cracked daughter in law, who has soaked her in poison.
Rohini brings a telephone bill and tells her mother to go an pay it. Vibha says, that Sanket too said, that the land line was not working. Rohini picks a new quarrel with her mother and accuses her for not letting her know that Sanket called. Rohini forces her mother to go, and she reminds her of going to the mandir, but she laughs at her beliefs, and says that God has no time for her, and he will be more pleased if she served her daughter in law more diligently. The mother has to swallow her pride, and keep up her defiance to prove that she still is on the right side of truth. She takes the bill and goes.
On the way, she can not get a rickshaw. Naina is here ready to help her, but she turns her offer down, telling her that she need not show her hollow sympathy. She gets her rickshaw and reaches the telephone office, where the line is very long. She meets a neighbour who recognizes her, and then the sun is getting hot, and Naina sends her missed calls, and Vibha ignores her calls. Then Rohini tries to call her and she answers her only to hear her accusations, that she is passing time. Rohini has not patience, and asks her to come back soon, as she has to take care of her grand son.
Vibha reaches a breaking point and faints. The bystanders, quickly pick her phone and find the missed call of Naina and call her. Naina arrives and informs her family, who rush to the hospital where Naina has already admitted her unconscious, and the medical team, cares for her, and the doctor tells the family, that she has been under great stress, and her blood sugar has gone low, and they need to take great care of her and she should have absolute bed rest.
Naina feels that she should leave before Ayee regains consciousness. The family tells her to wait, but finally yield to Naina's reasoning, which was that if Ayee saw her, again it may cause an attack, and she needs to be calm. So Naina goes home. When Vibha revives, she wants to know who brought her to the hospital. Akruti wants to tell, but the father interrupts her and says, "This is not the time to ask questions or hear answers. We should be grateful, that you are fine. It was true, that in the nick of time, there was some one there, to hold out the hand to catch yours, and bring you here."
At home Rohini is walking up and down the line of no control, grumbling at her mother in law and her forgetful ways. Kaka snubs her and gives her the story of Jhansi ki Rani, who took her child and went to war, and in modern days, the mothers hold on to their kids, and send old mothers in law to do their jobs outside in the heat. He says, this is Kaliyug, the worst kind. Naina arrives, and Kaka asks how his sister in law is. She tells him, that she got a message from Daksh that she has revived, and soon they will be coming home.
In the hospital, Vibha looks at the family, and says to herself, that when in need, it was her family that was by her side. She goes home with them.
In the precap: Rohini starts accusing her mother and she stares at her face.
