That is truly sad. Imagine a cast of this caliber being wasted!! And a character like BBP being written up for the small screen and then literally killed!! So a court scene is coming up in the next 10 days!

aah...the way the story took a turn had already guessed that this...channel might have been interfering...this is the main problem wid some of the channels...they just force the ph nd cvs to make the story go in some direction wid the typical absurd view that it will help it garner eyeballs...they're sick...really sick...

The "new" channel brand seems to sensationalize fright and confusion and give an exotic spin to standard mythologies. The whole MLTAK debacle indicates that they are very much out of touch with their audience. A glance through the serials shows that the concepts are interesting but they really need more than a mere 6 months to develop their audience base. Uff in the case of SKBM - why in the world would anyone mess with something that is good. If they had shown enough repeats and weekend catchup epsiodes and encouraged better dialogues, some more light characters, the occasional romance and better editing, they would have done well...watching the murder of well written characters is awful...Why is it that Indian soap operas never respect their audience? Why are they scared of quality? It is better to run a good story for 6-8 months and then release it in other formats than to dish out crap...dont people who work in this industry like what they do?

@ durum...agreeing...actually the problem i've seen wid this channel is its focus...from the starting itself...it has been keen on promoting dsdsb,dkdm,mltak...nd then at all the new shows launched...rest of the shows were just ignored...especially skbm...and the result is what i've seen among many of people i know...they prefer watching other shows i've mentioned...not skbm...nd the people working...they can't do much as ultimately they've to work under the channel...nd i think they've always had some problem wid the show...pehle toh ye sp pe telecast hone wala tha ...

Strangely enough they enthusiastically promoted MM and this other show TDSM which were dead even before they began...even though MM had a really good cast andstory...it was obvious from the get go it wouldn't work. The thing is that the serial competes with other shows at the same time slot and not necessarily with others within the channel. Having SKBM at the same time as DABH makes sense; the audience profiles for the two would vary (though in single TV set households, SKBM would lose out). The Indian TRP logic is an algorithm that makes no sense to me. Especially if you have an overseas viewership... well we are watching the demise of yet another good concept...

Actually most of the channels aim and appreciate the " herd mentality" ...neglect the niche audience b'cos of them being in minority. Presently , I am couselling myself to watch another episode of " Arti - the avenger" . 😕
