Yes, in the pre 3month leap, they have shown BBP as a go getter and a charismatic manipulator. However he is not clean. He put the Tiwaris at great risk when he hid Aparajita at their house - yes, he used them. During the trip between Pachmarhi and Bhopal, he first drove fast and then he made Puja drive, almost killing both of them. He also led Puja on (yes, it was an awesome romance) and then quickly went cold in the presence of Daddaji. His turning up in Mauritius, his caving in to Puja, his tormented soul, his denial yet his finally caving into Brija, his hiding Bungoli shows him to be a deeply flawed individual. For me the poetry writing hurts the most. This is a complicated man who, even before he met Puja, had already given his soul to the devil - why else persist in a constantly humiliating marriage that he could walk out off? I agree with @Sukanya - Prince Lamba Achamba is somebody who is now to be pitied; because he is now truly spineless, in his quest to gain power, he has become truly powerless...we don't know if he regrets his attempt to abort the Brija baby. There is some element of him caring for Puja, why else make sure she gets into the operating theater. But he is scared crapless of Daddaji...and he suspects Giridhar...but does not think of Rangoli as a big threat.

Interestingly enough BBP and Arti represent two differing views of the governance of a society - BBP represents an India that thinks plutocracy is the only way one can govern, if one wants to do good, they have to be willing to get their hands dirty. Arti represents a society where if every individual knew his/her rights and responsibilities and was willing to stand up for it within the framework of a ethical/moral code, they would have a just world i.e., "Ram Rajya".
But I really don't think the CVs are trying to give us any bodhi gyaan on governance!!πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

I think that soon after Puja refused to go through with the abortion, Daddaji, Rangoli and Giridhar came to know about Brija and more sinisterly, Rangoli's shooting. Daddaji then decided to take matters into his own hands and destroy BBP. His questioning Rangoli about Puja behind BBP's back indicates that he has lost trust in his SIL. Most likely one of the Haveli paid a visit to Puja and messed with her head (not that there was much in their to mess with), telling her that BBP was a chronic womanizer. Puja in turn probably wanted to let BBP know that she was cutting all ties with him or something of that nature before she left town with the Tiwaris or maybe that she had undergone an abortion after all (unlikely). If Puja is still pregnant and dies, the fetus may be traced back to BBP (At/MS🀒). Thanks to Arti's crusade, BBP is politically gutted, never to be resurrected. Rangoli becomes CM. The ikka maybe Mrityunjay (or Samsher or Shukla who have been diddled out of something) who has been her prime ghoda anyways... She has no need for the "gulam" BBP. He has crossed the line by marrying again...the Bungoli marriage is irrevocably destroyed, unless BBP submits to her body and soul.

Yes, pity is perhaps the worst form of emotion that anybody can feel for an individual. In his desperation to to see himself seated in that powerful chair, BBP might sink to new lows - physically hurting the Tiwaris🀒.He should have had understood that he was just a servant in the haveli and his job was to do errands for his masters- strengthening the party at the grassroot level , garner votes and so he had no right to doublecross. In the days to come he will be used and abused by everybody including Shankar. His whirlwind of dreams will really bring him down.

Lady dracula need not scream anymore that too on a person who is rowing a sinking boatπŸ˜•
