Seema Kapoor back in action

About her character, Seema says, "I am playing the role of Vasundhara Rajvansh in the show. It is a very independent character of a lady who is very dominant in this family and has all the authority. She cannot emote like others and remains aloof but still everyone in the house respects her. However, there is a mystery behind her."

Seem has stared shooting for the show. Sharing her experience so far she says, "The people are very nice and co-operative. I have not faced any hassles shooting with the entire unit. They are very professional and it is a very comfortable working atmosphere."

What made you take up the show? "I am here to work and do different kind of roles and I think this is definitely one. Also, this role will last long. It is a negative but real character."

Asked about her break, she says, "I had not taken a complete sabbatical. I did a few shows like Gharwali-Uparwali, Hansi Toh Fasi, Miss India and Air Hostess. But I cannot work round the clock. I have been in this industry for 12 years. Right now I am only doing Bidaai and Air Hostess, which is doing really well."

Seema Kapoor's role as Savita from Hasratein made her a household name. She went on to do many other shows and films.
