1Rajrani has always been pathetically inconsistent and feeble, without ever providing the stability and strength that a mother is supposed to for her children. I wonder when this intense love for her son Rudra began because she didn't pay any attention to him when he was a boy and in those times of growing up when Rudra needed the love and support of his mother – hence his attachment to Pihu. There were moments when I thought Rajrani had redeemed herself, but unfortunately, her unpleasant and distasteful character always reared its ugly head.
Had Rudra not remembered Gauri in the mandap, I am sure that Rajrani would have stood by silently watching Rudra unknowingly make the fateful mistake of his life by marring Pihu. And as she is so good at her disguise, we may even believe that she is acting in the interest of Rudra, when all it is really, is just another opportunity to rule with an iron fist.
