I agree with you if she didn't support gauri then may be rudar and gauri friendship was broke because her mother never allow her to be friend with him. Her mother was also not wrong because the first impression of rudra is really bad in front of her. But because of her nani support and trust we got that beautiful scene between rudra and gauri. I hope in future nani also support gauri and rudra relationship when everyone will be against. Because that time gauri really need her support and trust.
