RUGA RAWKKKKK...... ๐
Hi Cute ... we haven't met .. I'm Usha ... ๐ ...
Gauri's characterisation and reciprocity towards any of the other charac is a pleasing change too. The mandi scene where she doesnt turn into a quasi politico or social worker to give a bhashan on unequality and skewed status of women vs the goddess status etc Instead she analyses her present situation and uses the resource to her adv. She doesnt argue or fret with her naani over her indulgence in jewelry instead tries to make amends. Her charac has strength and purpose to achieve something rather than sulk and moan all day long. There is a so much realism to her charac; her resilience to fight out the travails of life and do so with optimism and hope, deal with whats in hand rather than what she doesnt have, look at life and issues in a practical way. Even her interactions with Rudra in the boat was so endearing. Although in a way both are difft personalities -one a fighter and one a conceder. Gauri lost her shop but instead of cursing, moaning all day she is shown to fight back looking for cost effective way to rebuild her shop. On the other hand Rudra lost his love and took up to alcohol to dissuade himself. He goes around seeking sympathy for his lost love. Somewhere this also indicates diverse needs of the characters-Gauri needs support and recognition and Rudra needs love and affection. Rudra tells Gauri that when she doesnt know what love is then how can she shrug it off?๐๐ The scene where Gauri is cleaning his wound, that was nice too, no gazing into eyes or touching of hands๐๐ just an admiring glance and its over๐ณ . Rudra the lonely soul ever seeking solace in whosoever willing to extend to him, is a good soul. He did listen to Gauri's advice and tried get his love back. Given the right direction he can turn into a fighter too. Perhaps there is something deeper in his childhood that he gives up on things or may be trusts whoever cares for him. It would be interesting to see how the two bond over.

I know seriously, that whole bit where Gauri was going off the boat, I thought ok PAKKA there will be a trip catch scene here! ๐ But nothing of that sort happened. Instead loved how Gauri was like, "Ab chalo Mr. Chattar patter" LOLL .. Exactly .... she was the one on control here... we could have had the chilched trip-n-fall or she could have just walked off without a backward glance ... but she didn't .. it's like she, being the stronger ... is looking after him, the weaker here ....
I love their conversations too! That's the best part about them, it's how they actually TALK to each other. lol And how they both are cutely amused at each other. LOL Adorable!!! ...... I sooooo agree .... TALK .... that's something unheard of in telly world .... ppl are busy bitching / plotting / or we have the eye-locks / trip-n-falls / ardent hugs ..... ppl actually forget to simply TALK ....
Love how they've started out with this friendship! They do indeed have an adorable chemistry that's away from 'hawtness' and all. It's just natural, easygoing kind of a chemistry which I'm totally loving! lol I think these two are the best thing about this show! :D

Completely agree, Rudra-Gauri interactions are such a refreshing change from the melodramatic analogues๐There is a so much realism to her charac; her resilience to fight out the travails of life and do so with optimism and hope, deal with whats in hand rather than what she doesnt have, look at life and issues in a practical way.
Great direction and dialogues till now๐ Hope it stays this way.

Totally loved your post Reality ..... I'm Usha !I love how Gauri deals with the situations in her life ....Even yesterday ... when Rudr shows up drunk at her house at 4 in the morning ..... she doesn't go all hyper .... trying to pull him ... in or out ... shutting the door ... going on tip-toes ... wispering etc etc !!!!She just accepted that he was there and she deals with it .....
