I think it depends on where you're living too like in some places people really care for others while in other places people just care for themselves and getting blood donation is hard at those places, convincing people and all as you said.

And I really liked talking to you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was nice talking to you too.^_ยฐ

Yeah, the scenerio varies from places to places and it is improving almost everywhere. I am happy about it.

@bold- OK, haven't watched today's episode as yet, it was more of thinking aloud ๐Ÿ˜†but, I feel, the report reference was not in passing, it's the sleeping giant of/ for/about what's just ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

What makes the entire show engaging is all the main dual characters ( be it in terms of age or position are bracketed well & strong - Dr Shashank Vardhaan, Juhi Anjali Vardhaan, Sid, Ishani, Rishabh) have either conflicting or opposing ideologies within the same working conditions, contrasting collision is inevitable, everyone has two eyes but no one has same view. SiShani at present may look like on opposing side of huge gaping cavern but the yawning gap will be bridged with the similar conscience call of being humane & the brick by brick bridging with their superficial fights to deeper finding themselves on same page would lead to better understanding & trust as formidable team, professionally and personally ๐Ÿ˜ณ

so true. all characters are strong and have their ideologies. Yes journey will be beautiful to see. Sid and Ishani both have same thoughts about medical if you see.

Both said same dialogue "problem pe focus karne se problem badti hai, opportunities chahiye to possibility pe focus karo" So both have same thought and keep their patient on top priority.

Their past experiences forces them to take the routes they do like Ishani wants to do it by fair play and rules but Sid has zero trust on system and wants to do with jugaad. With fighting and time they will find a middle ground and will be a team against Vardhan to save sanjivani is what I feel

Exactly , agree๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผthe blemishes of past always has emotional consequences, that keeps gnawing, deep inside, till it either empties or paralyses mind .

Their present responses are result of the repercussions that had disparaged , scarred not only their psyche but also their vulnerable impressionable childhood, belittling their sense of integrity and their methods of conducting are dominated by certain autopilot that triggers to action when present presses similar haunting circumstances .

Just a curios question. If this is the case then Dr Sid could have donated himself some part of his liver or he could have found someone in that big chawl who will be perfect match, no? So wondering why was he waiting for donor till now.

this type of transplants surgery are not easy dear. In transplant donor need perfect body health where person should not have any type of illness nor he/ she takes any type of drugs or alcohol. Plus person should not be anaemic the she is staying anaemic common things. Plus most important thing person should be ready to donate but because of lack of awareness people are scared for this type of thing. You won't believe some people are scared to donate even blood. From my college time I am member in one of organization where I regularly donate blood. From there I know this fact.

I really like this episode because for the first time I don't know who is right and who is wrong here? I don't think either Sid and Ishani are wrong both of them have a point and an interesting take on the situation

It's a Conflict between rules and work, Ishani is right in her view just because a man is an alcoholic doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to live and it's a hospital rules to save all patients no matter what...but Sid is right and have a point too because what's the point of giving him another liver when he's gonna damage this one as well with alcohol? Better give it to someone who deserve it instead!

I am inclined more towards Sid's in this particular situation. It's not about - why to give another liver to a person who spoiled it on his own is the only point Sid had.. Sid knows that Neethi is in the list first and it is manipulated by Vardhan.. Sid knows that Neethi deserves it.. Neethi waited for 11 months and if Sid wants to steal only based on the reason that an alcoholic patient don't deserve a liver then he could have stolen some other liver supposed to be given to an alcoholic patient in this 11 months.. but Sid is doing it only now where he felt that it's supposed to be Neethi's.. .. He told to Ishaaani that he too is like her when he joined Sanjeevani - being emotional about values and ethics but not now .. It's situations that changed him like the way he is...Not that I am supporting his ways but I can see where he is coming from..

After today I don't think that stupid Abhay even deserve it, the thing with Ishani she doesn't even know what Vardhan did, and she wants to follow the rules not restore to stealing because no matter what being a doctor you need to do ur job and follow the rules which is what Ishani is doing even though she knows for a fact Abhay doesn't deserve it but if Ishani is aware of what Vardhan did she would be on Sid side for sure but I understand where Sid is coming from and what made him what he is today. That's one of the reasons too why he's not strict or rude to Ishani because he relates to her in a way and understand her because he uses to be like her when he first join Sanjivani but situation changed him.

Even I noted today that he is not strict and understand Ishani because he can relate to her that he was also kind of same when he joined Sanjivani. He knows that Ishani is yet to see how things work in Sanjivani or how Vardhan plays game this is why he does not get angry with her.

These conflicts and all are good for TV shows and dramas, but actually in real life there are certain criterias for selection of liver transplant.

Please check the criterias here -

https://www.nebraskamed.com/transplant/liver/eligibility-evaluation

One of the criteria for not being eligible to get a liver transplant is the following -

  • A history of chronic and ongoing drug and/or alcohol abuse that cannot be successfully treated before transplantation, putting yourself at risk for continued harmful behavior after transplantation.

Medicine is not what is shown on TV or movies.

This means Dr Sid was right, that rich many doesn't deserve a liver.

Yes medicine is not Gandhism.

There is something called TRIAGE in medicine, where the patient who has the most chances of survival are treated at the earliest.

That doesn't mean that the more serious or dying patient doesn't deserve treatment.

It is just a method so that the efficacy is increased. Otherwise, what's the vslue,if you try to save a serious patient, but he dies. And in the meanwhile, valuable time is lost and the patient who could have been saved, if treated on time, also succumbs.

Medicine is not as easy as it is shown on movies and TV shows.
