Namit - Surbhi

Watched Surbhi in qh, had obsessed over as Annika in ishqbaaaz & now love her as Ishani so I won't lie I was apprehensive when there was news of Namit being cast against her for Sanjivani.

I knew this guy had a show on Sony but I never watched it so didn't know much about his capabilities as an actor.

Cut to first week of Sanjivani pleasantly surprised to see how Namit was easy on screen & pleasing to eyes, per say he isn't the best actor with respect to emoting on screen but there is certain charm to him which makes him pleasing to look at on screen.

Coming to Surbhi, won't deny was disappointed by her character sketch, writing & her acting, but come second week I knew I was never getting over this woman ever, she's an actor par excellence as far as I'm concerned & she owned every bit of Ishani.

Coming to sid-ishani pairing, they didn't appeal to me on first week, but from bomb blast episode these two just lightened up the screen for me just being in frame together. As someone pointed out in twitter, these two bring certain charm especially when together that it pleases you watching them on screen in single frame.

Sid-ishani for me do have potential & I really want this Jodi to be superhit as per ITV norms too knowing how important central pair gaining prominence is for shows to sustain these day's.

Surbhi was brilliant last week, whole of last week belongs to her (performance wise) Namit still have some stuff he needs to improve alot on but otherwise he's doing well

Sid and Ishani as a couple is growing on me I started to like them from the bomb blast episode when Sid steps in and took a stand for Ishani when one of the man from the public was holding her hand. That sequence caught my attention and the way Sid was protecting Ishani throughout that whole scene really touch me, I wasn't impressed with Sid character from the first week because I always feel he behave too immature to be a senior resident but last week he was professional and actually behave like a senior especially the way he was handing the situation and clamming everyone down during the bomb blast episode really change my opinion about him.

Hopefully there is still a long way to go and the equations will get better. Looks like the actors are taking some time to establish themselves as tge characters.

Surbhi I have watched in QH, in IB and even have watched all her small cameo roles. She has this amazing voice modulation quality which I found very rare.

After news of Namit I have watched his show and I knew that yes he will do good but he needs improvement in emotional scenes.

First week of Sanjivani except emotional scenes Namit was good. I liked few scenes of Surbhi too but yes overall her acting, character writing was disappointing. specially in SidIsha scene as they came as so abrupt random. but second week she owned like a queen. Infact SidIsha scenes also were very good and natural. Surbhi was brilliant.

Sid-Ishani pair came as fresh and raw in second week of scenes and yes they look pleasing in one frame. I see great potential in them but there scenes should be well written than random fighting arguing.

I think the first week was directed to show her character - how sad she was inside as her parents were wrongly accused, coming from that background and baggage. She was shown as calm, not talkative. That is the character. Surbhi knows her craft and always good at delivering what she is demanded.

Agree about that! Sid behaves the junior and Ishani behaves the senior!

Both of them were behaving immature the first week and many of us agree their fight would've been more convincing if both were shown to be first year residents

I love Sid&Ishani mature scenes alot better than their forced nok jhok. In those mature scenes you can tell they have potential and chemistry is there too, but they Improved alot in the second week.
