For me Dr Ishani is the most complex and intriguing character in the show because I am here for junior cast and their bonding with Shashank.
In sanjivani season 1 dr Juhi had omi as her friend just like that I want someone for Ishani . My eyes are on that northeast guy .
When is he gg to enter in to show . He looks really pleasing .just like that Sid also need a friend with whom they share everything.
First I used to like asha but now she is really irritating.

acha my 1st week impression ( never heard of Sanjivani ever, came across DMG briefly in star one and sorry it made me run away😆) so this is my background.
My first week impression is makers need to work a bit on writing and editing. from rushed scenes where Ishani was introduced and especially her interactions with Sid, to prove how much she is a rule freak they gave the hyper waste bin scene with Asha. it's swaying from cases, random references to her past, her wanting to suspend Sid because of money scam to her scenes with him.
Its a mess with editing for her scenes mostly which have not much flow. (My POV at least). On paper Dr Ishani is a complex character. but execution is lacking i feel. SC is a versatile actress, so i trust her to make a difference.
But it's still the first week and Sanjivani is definitely trying to break away from the saas-bahu, wedding sagas, daayans, etc- so will give it a bit more time. Let's see if it manages to get better or worst. Fingers crossed

Totally agree that last week editing, writing and execution felt very rushed specially on Ishani case this is why I feel her character came as annoying to many thou I loved her others scenes like with Vardhav, that magzine scene Surbhi was fabulous, scene with Anjali Shashank but yes her solo scenes and scenes with Sid felt very rushed and not written properly.

First and foremost the repetitiveness of that ishani complaining against sid track. She got the tag of “ annoying “ for that lol. Her scenes with Mr vardhan i liked the most, and with Dr Rishab. There I could see ishani the character rather than the typical ITV formulaic random banter of leads without any substance.
As a doctor she’s over enthusiastic, eager to show her knowledge theoretically and practically, eager to prove her self as a good doctor, maybe due to her past, sometimes comes across as bit bossy too lol
I noticed that there’s increased analysis on ishani as a character and SC’s acting than other characters and actors. Maybe because of increased expectations from SC.
It’s sad to see, but then i guess she was criticised during her previous show too, as not fair enough, not thin enough, not young enough and not a heroine material etc , but she has shown her versatility and acting prowess there. So hopefully she manages to do that here too.

Underline: Ishani character is very interesting and intriguing. I loved the fact she has been shown having different moods, working & she is not actually running behind Sid for proofs but coincidentally sees him everytime. I am loving her scenes with Vardhan, rishabh and others. With Sid scenes felt random rushed but today episode that was also better.
About eager to prove herself yes its coming from her past to show that she is not like her parents so yes she has flaws and I am going to love to see her journey.
Italic: hehe tell me about it. Last week all went so overboard not only criticizing Ishani as char but on Surbhi too. Initially it takes some time to get into character skin. Her scene where she gets coat badge was so beautiful. I loved her acting in magzine scene, with Vardhan even with Rishabh. With Sid scenes it felt off but that also seems to be ok in today scene. People should have given atleast few week time before judging in such harsh way.
Bold: Yeah She got so much criticism bashing even then, & it was almost similar here too on first week but yes I have full trust on Surbhi that she will make Ishani her own very soon, infact I can already see that happening.

Coming to her character, she is a highly flawed character who needs a proper character progression and I hope the makers provide that to her. This applies to Sid too, before they jump into their love story.
Well styling they are trying different different hair styles before going for final ones. We have got enought BTS to know that there are different hairstyles. I for one loving her short hairs. Also it gives her different look from her previous characters.
Yes she has many flaws and I hope makers show the journey beautifully
