Ishani is so annoying. - Page 7

Honestly don't find any character realistic even a bit in d show. I started watching after watching some interviews of d cast where they said they r trying to keep it as close to reality as possible. Also liked d season 1 as a kid so...

Ishani's character is so overdoing it. Agreed most of it is d writer's fault but some of it d actor's as well. She is only one I find annoying on screen. Too loud and too interfering for a first yr resident. First yrs don't interfere in seniors work , don't go on complaining and fyting like she does. There's so much to learn and do that you practically don't hv time. No first yrs tell a senior neurosurgeon what they should or shouldn't do.....no matter how much you know. It's called respecting and manners. Above all is d writing gone wrong but the actress is overdoing it so much. She needs to tone it down.

Rest characters r tolerable inspite of a faulty script.

I understand why Dr.Ishani is very particular about Sid's commission thing. It must be something related to her parents, about doctors using profession for money. I will agree that this 'complaining' thing is getting too much and annoying, I can still see the point of it.

What irritates me is her 'know it all' attitude. No one can be that efficient practically (even more than most of the seniors in best place possible for the profession) only after completing studies. There is a fine line between being confident and supremely confident (read as earning eye roll). Dr.Ishani has crossed that line even in first episode.

Does anyone think makers are intentionally making her annoying or is it just bad writing?

I feel its mostly makers' fault that Dr.Ishani's character is irritating rather than actor's. I know she still reminds us a bit of her character from her old show, but that's because it's too soon for her to start to feel like Ishani. In couple of weeks she will get the knack of it (hopefully)

After today 's episode I think makers are showing Dr Ishani overconfident with a reason . Today she broke rule due to her overconfidence and got nicely from DrRishab .so long way to go Ishani .

Preview for next week is just amazing.

not a bad writing...it is intentional...in 4th epi she interfered juhi-sid convo...but juhi didnt encourage her but totally ignored her...

in today epi also rishab scolded her for the same reason...she needs this reality check...

if they showed juhi encouraging her to say the details or today rishab appreciating her for her skill...it would have been bad writing...but they r carefully handling ishani's character...

ishani is very much flawed character...also sc is getting better...i can feel the diff in this week itself... also i had complains abt her only in sid-ishani scenes...now that also getting better...

Ishani does come across as overconfident and irritating...maybe it is a character flaw and writers are delibeately showing her that way so that she can realize her folly and change for the better, become a more sensible doctor.....I guess we will get to know as the story progresses....For now she does seem annoying and intruding...If writers are deliberately showing her that way so that she can change for the better in the coming epis then it is totally fine and if it's not intentional then writers really need to tone down her character and make her less annoying and bossy in my opinion

Have watched few epis of Surbhi's previous show and I do feel that she needs to get Annika out of her system.. Maybe since the show has only started it is too early to judge her...I hope as more epis will pass Surbhi will get into Ishani's skin and get Annika out of her system coz both the characters are poles apart

respect ur opinion...sc needs to get into the skin of Dr.ishani...but she is nowhere like annika...

trust me when i say this...as annika she played every shade...when annika was angry she was calm and composed...also the confrontation was always on point...also annika wont do any unnecessary argument when she was angry...also annika wont get hyper/angry soon...she always got angry only on extreme points...she might have given sarcastic comebacks...annika is very energetic...so ppl find her loud...for the same point sc also very energetic so some cant connect with her...

but here angry ishani is hyperactive...and ishani has very bad anger issues...in other scenes she was very subtle...but that got overshadowed by this annoying complain track...eg-her hesitency when vardhan asked abt her family, her emotionl break down when she saw the magazine, her fear of getting identified when rishab asked her name in the 2nd epi, her childlike behaviour with shashank after she came to know oh his tumor, shashank-ishani scene when he was taken to ot, her momentary lost state sometimes...everything was beautiful...but like i said these scenes were overshadowed by those rushed sid-ishani annoying complaining scenes...but at the same time sid-ishani scene were very good and matured when they r at professional front....

See I feel Surbhi needs to tone down....The way she delivers her dialogues and in a lot of scenes she is very similar to how Annika used to be....At least this is what I feel....Ishaani shouldn't remind me of Annika coz Ishaani and Annika are not at all similar and yet I can't help but get reminded of Annika in a lot of places coz of the way Surbhi acts....Yes her emotional scenes, scenes where she is sober are far better than her confrontation scenes with Sid.

Sid ask her did u see ur face.? Is it right for a doctor to to taunt face of a doctor?

Then aasha intentionally collide with Dr ishani and start arguing with her

Then vardhaan always mocking ishani because she is ishani arora because he think that Dr ishani is like her father so he mock her which made her frustrated . That she is not like her dad and even told in one of episode and I am not like my dad

When Dr Sid assign Dr ishani in rishabh team . Still ishani did not say anything to Dr Sid other wise Sid is very much unnecessary assingnniig Dr ishani in rishabh team

Dr Sid has play politics with Dr ishani . When Dr ishani was in Sid team then Dr Sid must include Dr ishani to assist Dr shashank surgery but he didn't not include her

But Sid include Dr aasha who was in rishabh team which is so wrong but still ishani did not react aggressively

Ishani should ask Dr rishabh why did u allow Dr aasha to assist Dr shashank surgery

honestly , they are blatantly copying some of ridhima's behavior is starting episodes of DMG. and mind you ishani is even more annoying than ridhima was in the beginning. i am only watching it for shanky and juhi. sid's character is kind of nice and no drama kind considering previous sid was a havock. i am interested to see how anji turned so bitter if she's the same anji and yes to hear some AR news. all in to listen about my babies. i am hoping for something during DMG'S anniversary aka 20 aug. and yes i want to know how is padma if they are continuing after DMG.
