Dr.Ishani Arora- observation based on 1st 3 episodes

Firstly i want to clear that i dont have any knowledge about sanjivani(1) & DMG. i'm watching this show only for Surbhi Chandna. here i'm pointing out what i observed and this post is my observation of mainly Surbhi's character DR.Ishani based on 1st 3 episodes.

ISHANI- very much layered and complex character. when she is,

Ishani Arora - she is vulnerable and emotionally weak. want to prove she is not like THE FAMOUS ARORA family

Dr.Ishani- very much dedicated to her profession. patients above all. very confident in what she is doing even if it is her first day on residency. in today's epi she did give answer for this confidence.

also i like to add she is from Doctor family. there will be certainly some traits she will be carrying. yeah i do accept this inheritance and didnt find illogical.

Ishani- with sid. (the meeting was forced/rushed but if i took that as stand alone scene, i liked how she offered chocalate and how sid after taking choco asked her to meet psychiatrist dr.taneja in 6th floor, it was cute)

Even before proper introduction btwn them ishani saw him taking bribe and she confronted him and she did ask sid to say why he did this but he didnt take that seriously.

HERE i want to clarify one more thing that ishani is aggressive, impulsive and very much hyper if she found something wrong/it is not per the written rules. u can clearly say, it is her nature after watching today's convo btwn ishani and shashank. and yeah sid is correct Ms.First year resident is irritating but she is brilliant. my only concern is sc should tone down little. at the same time in other scenes she is emoting very very well. Eg- her entry in sanjivani or the coat wearing u cant miss the twinkle in her eyes...BUT YEAH I'M LIKING THIS IMPERFECT FEMALE LEAD(NOT LIKE OTHER PERFECT ITV LEADS) AND WANT TO SEE HER PROGRESSION. and one more thing today epi's 1st 20-30 sec will also reveal how much ishani is aggressive in her nature.

her meeting with asha also rushed one i dint like their scenes on the very first epi but i do liked their scenes in second epi. they both are taunting each other well😆.

i liked that interaction between vardhan and Dr.Ishani Arora after shashank and ishani interaction. that scene very well depicted hesitancy in ishani abt her family and the next solo scene of ishani is intrguing one. and vardhan is very much calculative and manipulative person.

and with shashank she is child... i loved shashank and ishani scene. how he predicted her, how he calmed her, also he doesnt want to be at the receiving end😆 the way he teased her. everything was so nicely potrayed.

and i liked those little nuances, like using sanitizer after handshake with Mr.vardhan, saying khoti to asha, that unconcious distance she makes when someone came near her, some dialogues she delivered regarding how she is...

SIDDHANTH MATHUR- he too had layers to his char. he is not at all open book like the way he potrays himself. his scene with shashank also cute one i loved that also...so far i didnt impressed by his character...but namit is playing Dr.Sid effortlessly👏

Dr Anjali- from what i observed she is full of herself and come out rude. had many shades to her. potrayal of dr.anjali by sayantani mam is very strong.

dr.juhi- i did liked her intro and her entry in sanjivani today. but as i said earliear i dont have knowledge abt old season will wait for her story to unfold.

Agree with your views. Watching for SC. Though loved her individual scenes and today's scenes with seniors not able to connect with her scenes with Sid. Will like to see her background story and hope SC tones down her angry outbursts a bit. Liked the senior doctors. They are too good and also Mr.Vardhan .

yes...they do have potential...this forcing of hate story is little disappointing... but i do like their scenes when they are at work...so yeah makers should concentrate on natural building-up of their relationship...

After today 's episode I am damn sure there is lot of mystery behind her character

There is some tension surrounding her .

May be not received proper love and care at childhood . She definitely have some psychological disorder. The way she stared at Sid at the end of episode and when asha was talking with her in washroom she was not in her proper sense . She was just staring at the mirror thinking about something. And in the OT she told about her connection with dead bodies.and how she barged into Shashank room after attacking security.

Altogether I can surely say this she is dr ishaani , a very complex character and don't expect Dr Juhi or Dr riddhima vibe in her .

agree...we have to give time to find who is actual ishani.

From today's episode it is clear that Ishani is facing some psychological problems due to some trauma or the way she grew up and how people treated her. So there can be some reason behind her aggressive nature. Her problematic past was indicated in today's episode.

Today , I even liked her and Dr Sid's interactions because in the midway she was getting lost in her thoughts.

Meanwhile, dr Sid is growing on me , the way he stopped bickering and said sorry thinking Ishani felt hurt was perfect!

The scenes with the senior cast were good and emotional. Ishani and Shashank interaction was so nice, SC does emotinal scenes perfectly.

Liked how Anjali asked her to mind her own business instead of poking her nose everywhere. It was actually needed.

However, the bgm and the flashbacks during dr Juhi's entry scene felt as if Dr Shashank and Dr Juhi are lovers.

From only 3 episodes aired, I get that ishani has had a bad past, she is hiding and trying to undo or erase whatever mistake her parents or father committed.

So she is clearly a bit disturbed. Which explains her freak obsession with rules. She feels that if she breaks any rules, who knows she might become like parents or commit same crime. I'm interested about her past a lot.

She has many layers 😂 ( sorry layered writer ki yaad agayi 🤣).

If Sid is a really good doctor then whatever he is saying as joke from the first meeting itself is just to observe her reactions.

During their first meeting he told her to meet psychiatrist. Then again in today's episode he mentioned it again in different way . May be Shashank already informed him regarding ishaani and whatever mystery she has . (Seen a movie like this so just ranting )

I liked sc very much.she was brilliant in her previous show.but here I fell like sometime she is bit of ott and I am alike in your opinion that she should tone down a bit otherwise it reminded her previous act which is not good for a versatile actor,which I believe she is.and the male lead I don't know him so it will take that he grow on me and I also think their first meeting was forced.otherwise it's bit early to say anything.sanjivini 1 is a cult show and it's always difficult to overshadow the mother show.but best of luck for the whole team. I think this can this can be good plot for them to come closer understanding each other then eventually falling in love can come. Sid can realise that she is mentally suffering , and take her for counselling to a psychiatrist. He can support her in getting well , that will strengthen their bond. It will serve a dual purpose, increasing awareness about mental health among audience as well as a unique kind of plot for developing a love story.
