Idk, maybe they could have started off with her being in first year but a few months into her first year. Then fine. First day. Beh

Exactly.

For months, the residents are made to just stand & observe the whole surgery & everything. They are allowed to do the basics like regulate the dose of anesthesia, do the final stiches, control the suction, etc. Initially they are to learn other things before allowed an entry into the OT.

Here, well they have their own world for how residents work. I doubt if they had real doctors for the guidance.

Yes she does seem too overconfident to be a first year resident. Taking creative liberty is one thing but being this unrealistic is so unacceptable.

I don't know if Ishani's character is defined this way or not but it's like I am watching Anika's character with OTT reaction to every situation.

ITV shows will forever be full of unnecessary drama. Honestly I am unimpressed with S2. I am yet to find a likable character.

TBH, I am not liking this sudden negativity in Sanjivani. It may be realistic but it's too stereotypical. To show patients having no money. And Sanjivani and DMG had this feel good factor that I enjoyed and that's not there here. This jugad and money angle, NK's previous character also had. Seems like the same thing. And what Sid is doing is absolutely wrong! And how does Ishani even know whether that's right or wrong? There are hospitals that suggest elaborate surgeries and fleece the patients. How does she know that Sanjivani doesn't do that on the very first day? After Dr. Shashank's speech? How does she know how the hospital works? Going around and complaining on the first day? Shit. Bad

They don't even show the paper work at all. How? Govt. Hospitals too have paper work. Patient's reatives are actively involved in anything about patient. Doctors tell them of procedure, medicine & what not.

Why is every reboot a devolved version of the originals? They should be evolving to fit the modern times.

And how is that kid's mother allowed inside the OT? Idk medical details at all. But some common sense wouldn't kill. And, when the dead body woman came, and she was all hyper, don't they sedate the person? Why was this resident trying to calm her down? She wasn't a psychiatrist I suppose. Sedate her and take her to the respective ward not behave like some stud everywhere. And are residents allowed to roam anywhere like that on the first day till the senior doctor comes to give them instructions? What crap. And are all the doctors so incapable that this first year newbie has to help them?

Hahaha I get your frustration but you can't be more frustrated than me with that woman sequence as I handle such things daily.🤣

First of all she was declared brought dead without confirming and then our heroic FL had to check with the stethoscope while the protocol is to check the carotid pulse with fingers and not steth. After that it involves chest compression and CPR which was a total let down. Next after the patient is revived after cardiac arrest I'm presuming it from their declaration of brought dead.... The pt is put on a ventilator and shifted to ICU under sedation. Next the way our heroine was talking to her about kabristan etc was a bullshit totally. No doctor would do that and straightaway sedate and paralyse the pt. So for me the sequence was a nightmare actually

I saw a almost dead body being brought to life at 2 am in the morning. Horrible. Open wound, won't it lead to Sepsis. Even after sedation, the metabolic rate will increase as the body will demand more oxygen, to protect the brain, steroids need to given via iv. No resident doctor in real life especially in a multi speciality hospital will touch such case. The police is informed first.

Anyways cvs are going overboard with Surbhi's character. Sid is a version of modern day Robinson Crusoe.

if they had to bring in Dr. Juhi, she handling this particular case in the right manner would be better instead of the leads

Yes they are making her look unrealistic while the others are quite relatable. They need to keep a check on this surely.

Why do they have to insult out intelligence so much? I mean why? Aasman pr bitha kr, seedhe zameen pr lekar ate hn dhadam se.

With this way, it would be more embarassing for certain viewers to watch this show.

I mean hospitals are big & they have maps for the doctors & it takes time to remember them. Even Hermione Granger had her limitations.

You are a doctor? Then you'd relate to Dr. Rohit Sippy from KHKT. 😆 Idk, apart from the medical matters which I don't understand, I don't like the auxiliary aspects as well. How Ishani is behaving, how there's only one more new doctor with her that's Asha. So weird.
